AT THE END OF JANUARY 2024, A ******* WAS AT MY HOME AND RECOMMENDED WARRIOR RESTORATION TO PERFORM REMIDATION SERVICES. HE DISCOVERED WATER DAMAGE IN MY CRAWL SPACE WHERE MY MASTER BATHROOM FLOOR IS LOCATED. HE CALLED HIS CONTACT AT WARRIOR RESTORATION AND THEY CAME OUT TO ASSESS THE DAMAGES AND AFTER OUR DISCUSSION, I AGREED THEY COULD BEGIN THEIR SERVICES TO AVOID ANY FURTHER DAMAGE. THE INSIDE PROJECT MANAGER ****** BEGAN SLOW DRAGGING FOR 3 MONTHS TO SEND THE ESTIMATE OF WHAT IT WOULD COST TO PUT MY BATHROOM BACK TOGETHER. WHILE WAITING FOR THIS ESTIMATE, I DISCOVERED WARRIOR RESTORATION HAD ALREADY BEEN PAID ABOUT $14000 FOR THE REMEDIATION SERVICE. I WAS SURPRISE ABOUT THIS DEVELOPMENT SINCE THE ROTTED WOOD IN THE BATHROOM WAS NEVER REMOVED BUT THE ****FLOOR HAD BEEN INSTALLED ONTO A DAMAGE AREA. IN JUNE 2024 I EXPRESSED HOW DISSATISFIED I WAS WITH THIS PROCESS AND DISTURBED THAT WARRIOR SUBMITTED A BILL TO MY INSURANCE COMPANY FOR PAYMENT WHEN ALL THE REMEDIATION PROCESS HAD NOT BEEN COMPLETED.FROM THE WAY I SEE IT, WARRIOR WAS GOING TO DO A COVER UP WITH THE ROTTED WOOD AND HOPE NOBODY SEES OR SAY ANYTHING.ONCE I STOP WARRIOR FROM MOVING FORWARD, I CONTACTED TWO CONTRACTORS TO COME TO MY HOME AND GIVE THEN MY ASSSESSMENT.THEY BOTH SAID THE SAME THING ABOUT THE DAMAGE ROTTED WOOD SHOULD HAVE BEEN REMOVED DURING THE REMEDIATION PROCESS.SO NOW I AM UNABLE TO START THE RECONSTUCTION PHASE UNTIL THIS ROTTED WOOD IS ADDRESSED AND REMOVED.THERE WAS A COMMENT MADE THAT IN THE CONDITION IT IS IN NOW, CODE ENFORCEMENT WOULD NOT SIGNED OFF ON THIS. WHAT I WANT IS WARRIOR RESTORTATION TO PAY FOR THE EXPENSES IT WOULD COST TO REMOVE THIS DEAD WOOD, REPLACE IT AND RESTORE IT IN THE CONDITION IT SHOULD BE. WARRIOR RESTORATION WAS PAID TO PERFORM REMEDITATION SERVICES IN IT'S ENTIRETY.ALSO SINCE WARRIOR LEFT MY BATHROOM FIXTURES UNPROTECTED FOR A LONG TIME ON MY PATIO, ALL THIS IS UNUSABLE AND I WANT TO BE REIMBURSED FOR THE COST OF REPLACEMENT.

This company charged me triple the cost it should have been to clean up my kitchen after my dishwasher leaked. It was over $13,000 just for the clean up. The line items for the water mitigation were over the top. The customer pays a ***** fuel charge for the workers to come to your house everyday, ****** for power that is my power, ****** negative air fan, Power distribution box, etc. The bill was so high it got flagged with my insurance company and they had to dispute many of the charges causing months of delay while I did dishes out of the bathtub. I had enough of Warrior. I fired Warrior and hired *******. They were amazing. The gentleman that came out from ******* said that Warrior should be ashamed of themselves charging that much. ******* completed the job before Warrior even got paid by the insurance company. I would never use this company!!

We were not fired from this job. We were contracted to perform a mitigation only. We completed the mitigation and were paid for doing so. We perform all jobs to IICRC standards and bill as work is incurred, providing all documentation to support the charges. The insurance company attempted to not pay for the mitigation based on the correct category and class of the loss. We made many attempts to contact State Farm to expedite the payment process and they were unresponsive. The first series of these attempts occurred on 1/19, 1/23, 2/2, 2/9. It was not until 2/27 that the insurance company requested revisions to the invoice, more than five weeks after the mitigation was performed. We obliged promptly. We then attempted to contact the insurance company again on 3/8, 3/15, and 3/21, again with no response from State Farm. The customer was copied on all of these attempts. As a courtesy, we provided a reconstruction estimate to the customer at no charge. We were never contracted to provide reconstruction services. Though the insurance was dragging its feet on paying the mitigation, it approved and released funds for the reconstruction based on the very same mitigation invoice it was supposed to be disputing. Insurance companies do not approve, nor pay for work that is not warranted. Our notes indicate the customer was very frustrated with her insurance company, and understandably so. We have both written and recorded verbal correspondence to this effect. It is incongruent for the insurance company to quickly approve a reconstruction estimate, but not approve a mitigation invoice based on the very same scope of work. The insurance carrier should have approved a temporary sink be installed by a licensed plumber. There is no reason the customer should have been washing dishes out of her tub. This appears to be another instance of State Farm not taking care of its customer in a timely manner. We do charge a $25 gas charge as gasoline prices have increased all small business costs, and unfortunately, insurance company pricing seems to consistently be about six months behind market rate; however, this cost is never passed onto the policy holder. As far as the electrical power use, we dont charge for use of a customers power or the increase the customer may see in their electric bill. That power increase is part of the loss and the insurance company should reimburse the customer for this cost. It seems that the insurance adjuster should have communicated this to the policy holder. Its part of indemnification and making the customer whole. The $167 charge for air scrubbers is for two of them at $83.51 each. They are used for the protection of the indoor air quality of the home. Why the customer would not want this or think this is part of the loss is beyond our understanding. This is very clearly spelled out as proper protocol according to the ****** which dictates industry standards. And again, this charge while valid is never passed on to the home owner. The home owner did not pay one ***** out of pocket for her mitigation. It is always our desire to perform mitigation in a proper manner and educate adjusters along the way, as needed. This is never done at the expense of the home owner.
