The engine blew after 3 months of purchase. Member Care declined the claim because off after market parts i.e. tires, shifter ***, headers which was on the car at purchase. They don't warn against after market parts when you purchase a vehicle but guaranty you coverage. A truly waste of time, money, and energy. They should inform you of does and don't before they take your money and offer coverage. Buyers be ware. Not worth purchasing.

If i can give them a zero or negative stars i would. I purchased this service via my bank with my loan. My car was leaking oil. Was coming from my timing belt area. Took it in for a recall and asked the dealership to figure out where the oil leak was coming from. They said multiple places ad recommended a full reseal. I gave them the contact number and get the ball rolling. That was October 28th '24. Member care wanted my engine pulled. Okay fine. They end up saying that my oilpump is aftermarket and does meet oem. That was on December 12th '24. I sent them all paperwork stating that the oilpump meets and exceeds oem specs. Now they are saying because oilpumps are covered under the contract and the point of failure was the "aftermarket oilpump" it is not covered. Even tho it meets and exceeds oem specs. They are footing me with the bill. I am going to send in a cancelation form. And the only reason they have a A+ with BBB is because they make all this money off us and never pay out for the claims.

I had my water pump go out on my truck Oct 13 and Member Care told me that it wasn't cover under warranty so I had to change this out on my dime, after I changed out the water pump and belt I had a check engine light come on so I took my truck to my mechanic shop on Oct 28 and told me it had some codes for the turbo and transmission. My mechanic reached out to member care on Nov 4th about the cracked boot on the turbo and they told him it wasn't covered. So I had him do the *** boot and do the rest of the diagnostic. He found the transmission has an internal failure and the turbo actuator is not functioning correctly. He then contacted them again about his diagnosed and they said they would send an adjuster out to look at the truck. So I stop at the mechanic shop to take a look and talk them about the repairs. I ended up taking the truck home and bought a cold air intake since they told us the turbo boot wasn't covered. The *** boot was ****** for the part and the cold air was ****** that was on Nov 16th the adjuster showed up to look at the truck and turned his info back to member care. They told us they would cover the Transmission but not the turbo because of the aftermarket intake that was the reason the turbo failed. I told them that I just put that on due to them not covering that part and that had nothing to do to the turbo failure the was already diagnosed as bad before I changed the intake. I have all this documentation all this being done with time stamped photos. I have also contacted my Bank about this warranty letting them know that they might want to look into this company and find a better company that will take care of there members.

They get a negative 5 star. It's sad my credit union promotes this business and it makes them look bad selling garbage like this. I purchased mine for peace of mind after buying a used car from a private seller. Vehicle ran fine for a couple and started having transmission issues. Filed a claim and was denied after waiting for a week. they say the problem was pre-existing. They even sent over so called inspectors to the service shop. They just want to get out of paying claims. They claimed on their site they've paid out billions in claims. More like they pockets billions by s******* people over!

I am Looking for an extended warranty and was told by the *** dealer that Membercare was the best. As I'm reading all these reviews, I think I'll keep shopping for a company. I can't find one good review and that's just sad.

MemberCare was practically useless when I had actual problems needing repairs. I got every excuse under the sun as to why they refused to cover some fuel line repairs at my vehicle's dealership. One representative tried to claim that fuel lines weren't covered on their list of eligible items which is 100% false compared to what my credit union told me who signed me up for MemberCare. Another representative tried claiming that "hoses" aren't covered by their plan even though the mechanics clarified that the fuel line isn't a hose but a hard, plastic tube. Another representative tried to claim that fuel lines are only covered depending on what type of material they're made from. Sound fishy to anyone else? Shouldn't it be a consistent story as to why something isn't covered? I canceled right away and I'm never going back.

I think member care insurance is a joke. I paid nearly 2k for it and was supposedly the middle tier plan. My jeep had the heat fail and because of the specific wording in the contract they denied coverage. I will be cancelling my coverage tomorrow!

NO STARS FROM ME, BUT I HAVE TO GIVE A 1 STAR TO POST, THEY ARE A JOKE!!! they spend more time asking you to go through multiple hoops. after you give them what they need, then its something else that will request of you; then something else; then something else, etc... anything to avoid having to pay for any repairs. when asking to speak to managers, that's NOT possible, they will have to send a email and they will get back in touch with you. my claim was started on 14 May 2024. if anyone is thinking about using this company, DON'T!!! this will save you from the headaches of trying to work with this company because they are not trying to work with you. I AM STILL WAITING..., one day they may decide to get in touch...****************
