      Insurer Opti Med Health Horizon Health customer service Customer dissatisfaction non-reimbursement of payment $919.33 of insurance cancelled well within policy outline.I recently experienced the worst customer service when trying to cancel an insurance plan that was not adequate to my needs.Opti Med was the actual provider and Horizon Health from what I determined is there front-line interface for the handling of direct requests made in their behalf such as cancelling services.I initially called Opti Med on 7-29-24 after receiving my insurance cards and reviewing their proposed policy via there portal, stating is what not clearly outlined and very sparse detail relating to details of coverage. She honored my request and stated it would be cancelled in 5-7 days. - no action taken After another call to Opti Med I was told to call Horizon Health their front line for administrative requests such as mine.I did reach out to Horizon Health on 8-7-24 and made another cancellation request supplied them with all information they requested and again waited for a refund. Their window for this type of request was 7-10 business days. That interaction happened a few times and nothing. On 8-16-24 I spoke with another agent which pointed out to me that every time, I made an inquiry, they didnt document it on the same request that was initially opened they kept on created new requests which delayed the process.After supplying the same information, he supplied me with his contact info.On 8-30-24 no action taken I called Horizon Health and asked customer service to connect me with the agent who supplied me with their direct extension. After waiting on the phone, I got disconnected after ************************************************************************************* back, - no response Called a third time sat on the phone another 45 minutes to only get a response of extension not known and the call dropped. Looking for resolution and reimbursement

      TOTAL SCAM! Stay away. Lied to by the broker about what was covered, they changed my OOP maximums AFTER I signed (have proof), they do not cover 99.9% of anything a normal person might need for medical coverage. GOD FORBID you need a medication that has no generic - you will DIE before they cover it. I have placed numerous calls and emails, get the run around to contact other departments, get left on eternal hold or hung up on after the eternal hold. NO GOVERANCE to report these criminals!!! And the way the US healthcare system works, I can't even drop them for a better plan until next year's open enrollment. No way in the ** to get out of a plan, once you are in, they have you. Better take your vitamin C and eat your Wheaties and pray you don't get sick or injured while covered by these fraudsters.

      SCAM, One of these days they well have to answer to their maker!!! ***** they get these people one way or another!!! Shameful took me for $400.

      I've had optimed for a year and the only thing they have paid is prescriptions. I've been paying for insurance and getting nothing and paying doctor ***** out of pocket to the point to now I'm broke.I think there a scam

      Horrible news experience. Lied about upfront cost. Had zero benefits and I tried canceling multiple times. Even after canceling, they still billed my card again. When I called to talk to them about to, they acted like it was not them, they are not the billing agency. Then they put me on hold to transfer me and left me on hold for over he before hangin up. Stay away! Total fraud!!!! Awful.. zero stars! Nothing worthy of any.

      I purchased a PPO plan in March of 2022 for $250/monthly installments. I visited the doctors office for a routine check up in November of 2022. Yet to my surprise those 2 appointments were submitted to Optimed and were adjudicated no payments were made leaving an outstanding balance. The premiums are astronomical due to the fact they do not pay legitimate claims for service. ************ Is a representative with Optimed and blatantly refuses to reimburse the $3,000.00 I paid in total and didn't benefit from their fraudulent practices offering products/services. Do not use this company it's a scam and they should be closed for unfair business practices against consumers! FRAUDS.

      They do not cover any injectable diabetic medications! SO BEWARE!. I dont see how that is even possible. I'll be cancelling as soon as I find other insurance. Every step of the way has been a hassle even getting a simple email took days when the woman on the phone could've told me what i needed to know.

      This is a SCAM!!! Stay away!! They did not pay a ***** of my Doctors bills! They are liars and downright hostile when I tried to get answers from them! I reported them to my credit card company and they (Opti med) agreed to refund me my monthly payments!

      I cancelled the insurance on May 25, 2022. On August 1, 2022, they tried charging my credit card even though it was cancelled. When I called to find out more, they lied to me on who they were and I paid them. They deny they ever sent me an email stating that my card my card was declined. This insurance stinks as I can coverage for anything near me and I have to pay out of pocket for the doctors and everything else. I want my money back for what they charged me when they shouldn't have.
