I went in for an oil change and tire rotation today. I requested *****e 1 oil for my car. When I got the bill, they charged me $112.74 for 6.4 quarts of oil. When I called to question the high price for the oil, I spoke with ***** who informed me that he didn't charge as much (percentage or margin) as he does on his in stock oil. When I told him that I could buy six quarts of ***** 1 for less than $44 dollars he said that he doesn't stock ***** 1 and he charged me less than his in stock oil (got it). I then asked why he didn't tell me it would be so expensive and I had the option of bringing my own oil, he told me it was my fault for not asking. My fault....So, while I try my best to support local businesses, I will never deal with these people again. BUYER BEWARE. Make sure to ask how much before you take something to them to avoid being bent over and screwed like I was. I hope the profit you make on this oil change make you happy ***********Any by the way, they didn't rotate my tires. I'm sure that was my fault as well.

When **************** called back to complain about the oil change price, I explained that the ************** was an outside purchase that we did not stock and our cost was considerably higher than our bulk full synthetic oil. **************** was aware of this because he called ahead to order at his request the **************. However, I still respectfully offer a refund credit to him based on his reaction and disappointment in what he perceived as an overcharge. I explained to him that our markup on his oil change was LESS than our typical markup and that was done in order to offset the additional cost associated with the **************. He stated that he wished we had quoted the price to him prior to the service and my response was that generally if no one request a specific price on a service then one is not disclosed. I also and still maintain that any consumer who is concerned with or price sensitive in general to any service, they should ask what that service cost would be beforehand. In fact, he requested and received while waiting on his service, a price for tires on his other car. So this in his mind the tires dictated a price quote, which he of course received in writing. Apparently, a price quote was unnecessary for the oil change because he never asked. We are an honorable business with high integrity and customer satisfaction is among our highest priorities. We have countless positive reviews and our ****** rating is 4.6, ******** rating is 4.8,our website rating is 4.5,Yelp rating is 4.5 and Carfax rating of 4.8. This is an average of ****. Businesses do not acquire this rating by overcharging for their services. We are very disappointed anytime a customer is unhappy with an experience and we always attempt to resolve any issue as I attempted to with **************** in form of a Credit Refund. It is unfortunate that occasionally, although rare, an issue simply cannot be resolved to a customers satisfaction.
