Installed a pool 1.5 years ago and 2 nd summer opening the pool and my pool liner is wrinkled. Called rep several times to discuss the issue and my wife called him 2 times with no response. The associate at the business quoted me their company policy on warranty without any concerns of what happened. The company said it would be 2 months and 1700 hundred dollars to help resolve the problem. If you plan on investing 50k when installing a pool please do not use this pool company. There are other companies out there that will give you better service. Also on another note they recommended a stone layer for us to use which resulted in the contractor ripping us off for 13k. Bad company to use because they do not stand behind their work.

We would like to explain the issue with the customer's liner. Unfortunately it is possible for pool liners to float up after heavy rains. Each yard will be different, but if the ground becomes too saturated, the liner in the pool can float up. This is in no way a pool construction defect, but rather an act of nature. We state on our website that it is very important to keep the water level in the pool high year round, in order to help hold the liner in place. This customer had someone shut their pool down for the winter and that individual did drain the pool down some. This made their liner more susceptible to floating. Once the liner floats, it will usually settle back down and leave wrinkles. The customer and his wife both spoke on the phone with our Managing Director, who directly oversees and warranty/repair services. In addition, we had a technician visit the pool to assess the extent of the wrinkles. We advised them on ways to help prevent it in the future, as well as quoted them a price and timeframe for us to repair it. The customer ultimately decided they did not want to get on our list for repairs. While we hate that their liner floated this past winter, we encourage this customer and all pool owners to carefully research how to prepare the pool for winter, which is typically the wettest season in our service area. We are not sure what this customer is referring to about the 13k. We would like to state than any decking work is a separate contract signed by the homeowner with a decking company. The amount Inground Pool Design collected from this customer was exactly what was on their pool contract.
