            My last name is **** and first name is ******. My ******************* was in ******* *****. I went to ******* for a visit and I had an accident, falling from the attic. I went to see a doctor in ******* and the doctor ordered a chest x-ray at Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in *******, **. I asked a person who works for Wellstar north Fulton hospital, if they take my health insurance, They said, "yes we do."Wellstar North Fulton Hospital sent me a bill of 718$. Wellstar North Fulton hospital wanted me to pay the whole amount 718$. But my health insurance has an invoice that I supposed to pay only 30$. The invoice was attached below. At first I didn't know that I do not have to pay 718$, but so far I paid 333.18$. Now the hospital said I owed 384.82$ and the hospital sent the rest of the bill to collection. My health insurance, bright healthcare has an invoice for me to pay only 30$, but not 718$. The hospital asked me to pay that mount that I do not supposed to pay after the insurance. I am writing to ask the hospital to refund me back 333.18$ that I supposed not to pay.

            I gave birth at Wellstar North Fulton (06/2023) and stayed for roughly 4 - 5 days after having a C-section. I verified my current address SEVERAL times. The address they had on file was an old address from roughly 10+ years ago. I provided them with my up to date address at least 3-4 times during my stay at the hospital. I received a text message from HC Collections (01/2024) stating that I owe $2k+. I call Wellstar billing and they state they have an old address on file AND I owe another bill for my daughter thats $1800+. She shared she had my husbands insurance on file (and they didnt think to try that prior to sending that to collections???) why are these hospitals hiring incompetent people to handle simple tasks like updating address and insurance information? Giving birth is traumatic enough and unfortunately we live in a capitalistic society where your credit really matters! Im infuriated that it even got this far. Get better systems and or staff to make sure information is up to date. This world is stressful enough. Do it right the first time.
