    My move in date was November 17th 2022. I paid for the renovated apartment. I was only shown a model apartment prior to move in. This apartment had an air vent covered in dust and someone had literally just painted white paint over the grate so dust is stuck on it! The air filter they had in was not even the right size. There was so many issues but the main one is the air. It is hot year round in Savannah ga and they have known for a long time now that me and my two year old are living in this awful apartment without air and they say will do something then they don’t. I have now had to speak with 3 different “managers” who all claim they will do something and do not. I have placed 6 work orders in the last two weeks. Still nothing. In my contract it was stated that I would get a 500 dollar credit towards my rent for three months since I signed on in November. December 1st has come and gone and no credit is to be found. These people are dishonest and are robbing me, a single mother blind. I am stressed and can not find anyone who will actually follow through or care enough about this situation. I hate paying these high prices and not even having air. This is my worst nightmare come true when it comes to renting. I’ve never met people this mean and uncaring in my life. The flats at hampstead need to be shut down if this is the best they can do.
