    BBB unable to locate business
    On November 21, 2022, I purchased a wax pass from the European Wax Center located in ********* **. I scheduled an appointment for December 23, 2022, to begin sessions using the pre-paid wax pass. On December 16, 2022, there was an incident at the location where an employee was shot. The business has brown paper over the windows and the voicemail is full with no information on how to make contact. I received no contact via phone or email to cancel my appointment or to address the pre-paid wax pass. I have made multiple online inquiries via the website to discuss this issue with a person or receive a refund for my pre-paid wax pass that has not been used. I contacted the nearest location to determine if anything could be done there and they provided the corporate phone number because each location is franchised. I have tried on several occasions to make contact with the corporate office with the only option being to leave a message and I have not received a call back after leaving several messages. I am simply requesting a refund of the money that I am not able to use as the business is closed. I am not willing to travel to another location as that would be an hour's drive - one way. The wax pass cost was $378 and I do have my paper receipt as well as the emailed receipt for that transaction. I am no longer interested in doing business with this company as this situation could have been handled in a more professional manner.
