    Since changing delivery methods to the ***** the Savannah ********** no longer delivers my Sunday issue consistently. This has happened yet again over the past weekend. With each complaint, ** advised to contact the post office while the service rep ******** the delivery department. But there is a continual inconsistent pattern as I will next describe. After each complaint, the Sunday issue delivery is properly restored for a week or two. However, after two weeks of resumed proper delivery, the following week once again involves a missed Sunday paper. This is really getting old. How difficult is it to deliver a weekend paper consistently? The paper delivery was much better before the switch to the ***** And they never deliver the missing Sunday issues the following day-am simply out a paper each time. I want the Sunday paper delivered consistently-as opposed to this growing string of credits!!!!

    We have been trying to resolve this directly with the business (The Sun Today - an edition of Bluffton Today and the Savannah Morning News) for months to no resolution. Repeatedly we have asked for the weekly SUN TODAY (an edition of Bluffton Today and the Savannah Morning News) not be thrown in our driveway. This business is a nuisance with inadequate customer service. We DO NOT have a subscription, which the business itself confirms this point when we call to request this service to be discontinued. This business continues to trespass, litter in our yard, and create a security issue when we are not home, alerting others of our absence.     I am a 40-year subscriber to The Savannah Morning News and live in ********* For years, I received the daily newspaper by “paper boy” delivery in our driveway. When the Savannah Morning News became available digitally, I canceled my home delivery and switched to the digital edition. There was an *** *** called “Savannah Morning News - ***** *******”. It was much more user friendly than the current “*********” App. The previous ***** ******* *** was far superior and equal in usability to *** **** ****** ******* ***** ******* ***. I have reached out to the SMN multiple times about the ********* ***, but have never received a reply. Perhaps the BBB can get to the bottom of the problems at the Savannah Morning News. The newspaper is in serious decline, both in customer service and content. Thank you.

    Please accept this as confirmation we have received a complaint from your offices regarding *** ****** and his eNewspaper subscription to the Savannah Morning News. The mobile version that he is accustomed to is no longer supported by our IT department. We have discussed with *** ****** some other options to try that may be more what he is looking for in viewing the paper. He has our direct information to be able to contact us with any other questions that he may have.

    To the BBB:

    I received a prompt response by phone call from the Savannah Morning News. The lady with whom I spoke was very helpful and knowledgeable. She told me that my complaint was similar to other complaints they have received in recent months.

    *******, the parent company that owns the Savannah Morning News, without prior notice, canceled support for its “***** *******” App for the Savannah Morning News and all of the hundreds of other local newspapers that it (*******) owns. Perhaps, ******* will reconsider its decision and reinstate the ***** ******* App.

    We have had numerous issues with our newspaper delivery or lack thereof. We have reached out numerous times to the Savannah Morning News but have been unable to get anyone to respond to us. We average 2-3 papers a week even though we have a subscription for 5 days a week. Would like to just cancel the subscription at this point.

    I paid with a check for newspaper service to my home. This service should have begun about two months ago. I have not received a newspaper despite repeated calls to the company.

    I changed my newspaper subscription from home delivery to digital, agreeing to pay $4.99 per month starting in May 2023. I was charged $4.99 at that time, which was fine. In June, my credit card was charged $28.17 as if I was receiving home delivery again (which I am not) and I’ve called at least three times asking for a partial refund of $23.18. Each time, I’m promised the refund and I still have not received it. I don’t think it’s right for this company to keep money that I did not agree to pay. Thank you. ****** *******

    The problem with the rate has been corrected and the account adjusted.  The account was modified and is currently paid up until 12/16/23.  The monies paid by the subscriber in error in June have been applied to her subscription.  If that is not acceptable, please let me know and I will get a refund issued for the $23.18.

    I have been a subscriber for over 50 years. Since the newspaper was sold to foreign interests deliveries are hit or miss. I've lost count of the number of missed deliveries. Today, 1 May 2023, was just the latest in missed deliveries. Calling the automated line produces no result; they will NOT send a carrier with the newspaper and there has NEVER been a next day delivery even though I've requested one. By now I should have a free lifetime subscription. The service is worse by the week. Sad that a prime newspaper has been allowed to become little more than a few pages of late "news" since the new owners took the reins. I NEEED DAILY DELIVERIES. I PAY FOR THAT .I WAS upset to see that the automatic processing of my payment was done today, a day on which no paper was delivered.

    i have paid for home delivery of the Savannah new paper and have only gotten one paper in the last 30 days or better. i have called one time and have sent at least 7 e mails but get the same response every time, "we are sorry". all i ask is to be told what is going on and all i ever hear is "we are sorry". i see papers in the driveways of neighbors so there has to be a delivery person in the area, i would think. i do not want to cancel, i just would like to have someone please tell me what is the problem and will it get fixed.

    I have been a long time subscriber to the paper(Friday/Sunday). They recently changed the terms of my subscription from carrier delivery to mail delivery. Since then, I have yet to receive any of my Friday editions. By time the mail runs here Friday evening, it is too late to get one elsewhere. My Sunday editions do arrive (Monday Evening.. isn't that pathetic..). When I contact the paper about the Friday editions, all I am told is I will get credit. I am sorry, but I did not subscribe to credit... I subscribed to a print copy of the paper and that is what I want and expect. Each friday comes around with no paper, and another promise of credit.... This is a running thing. I want my print papers.. I have not received the editions from 10/21, 10/28, 11/4, 11/11, 11/18 and 11/25. If they cannot provide the print copies, then I want a refund. I had an earlier issue with delivery and was previously told that the paper had a F rating with your bureau. We did get a new carrier and it got better until they got rid of the carriers. Now they are sending me notices to renew, and they can't perform on their current obligations. I want the missing papers delivered asap, and if they can't do that, then i want a refund. This rotating credit is absurd.

    We have on-going delivery issues with SMN. Comes some days and not others. Recently got back from a two week vacation during which we stopped delivery of SMN and *** ***** and suspended service of ***. We got our papers on Fri (7/22) and absolutely nothing since. For us that is THREE papers not being delivered. In the past, we have complained to them and been promised refunds that we have never been given. Also—one of the two service numbers they have listed has been disconnected. Unacceptable!
