On May 31, 2023 I signed a lease for a 2010 ***** Accord from Ready for the road at the *************** in ********** ** from a salesman named *******. As soon as I got home from the dealer the engine light came on. I tried to contact him and no answer. The first evening of my purchase the car turned off on me while I was driving. The next day he had a mechanic come to my location but still the issue was not resolved. I knew then I was sold a lemon. July 15, 2023 was time for me to get a tag. I went to the tag office on the 14th and was told I need an emission on the car because it had not had one in a few years. I informed the dealer of the emission was not done on the vehicle and he stated he was not in town and hed handle it once he returned. He did not reach back out to me. I called him on July 17, 2023 to get an update and he asked for my ViN# and the mileage on my car. We made arrangements for me to bring the car to him on on the 20th of July 2023 so that he could get a friend to pass the emissions on my car which has an engine light on since the day I purchased it. After looking online I see the dealer illegally passed the *** my car on July 18, 2023. After returning my car he said I can go get my tag and dont say anything about what he did. The engine light is stone. I had to pay 950$ today for a new cadellic converter, oil is leaking or burning off, *** AC never worked. The exhaust is bad and Im buying oil Everyday to put in the car. This car has brought so much stress and financial burdrinto my life and I think I have purchased a car from a scammer. I put 1400$ down the vehicle and I have monthly payments and the warranty is only covering so much of the damages that I had no clue about. This dealer is conducting illegal business and must be stopped and investigated. I have been dealing with these troubles since May 31, 2023. I just want a refund and the car repaired ASAP. Im an Uber driver and I am loosing income because of this car.
