on 4/20 we arrived to check in at 6PM (check in was at 3PM). We were told we'd have to wait another 20 minutes because the room was being cleaned. We came back an hour later and got into the room. It was hot, reeked of paint (as if it had just been painted), there was no lights in the room except the bathroom light, the ** didn't work properly, tried to call the front desk and the phone had no phone cord. Walked down to the front desk to report all of the above. When I got back to the room, I went to use the bathroom and there was dried urine all over the toilet seat. We left to go to dinner and told the front desk about the urine and that someone needed to clean the room for real this time. By the time we got back no one had cleaned the room. I had to clean it with a washcloth. The other washcloth was filthy. Went to take a shower and there was no hot water. It ran for 15 minutes and never got any warm water. We settled in to go to sleep and a ***** ran across my partner's arm. At that point we packed up our car, turned in our key card and told them what else had happened (they already knew about the paint smell, warm room, urine, tv not working, no lights, no phone cord) and that we were leaving and we shouldn't have to pay for a room that is uninhabitable. We drove back home that night, 3.5 hours. We got home at 2:30AM because that room was sold as a room to sleep in and it was not.
