1 starThe worst service as a company that I have ever experienced. Starting with an uninvolved sales person, incomplete installation, and horrific customer service. Installation was paid in full before the installation was started. They supposedly ran out of materials, this was over a month ago. My steps are still incomplete. Ive called over 9 times, **** is not returning any of my calls. My salesperson has only updated me once. I dont know how Empire has remained in service. Im so frustrated with Empire.Review fromAmanda O

1 starHorrible customer service. I called several times trying to reach management or someone to help with the poor installation done on our home. First day contractors come out they are totally unprepared. Had no clue where they were installing and didnt have right materials. They came and completed a portion then came back another day to complete. They were at my house after 1:30 AM!!!! We were so upset. They also damaged my kitchen cabinets. There was an area of the flooring that needed leveled and they were too lazy to do so. Not too long after install the flooring started coming apart in the very area that the contractor told us we need to do something in our basement to fix the flooring ?? Of course they dont speak English so communication is poor. All quarter round installed is peeling from poor quality and poor cutting. They even installed quarter round an inch too short in an area I had them fix while installing. I shouodnt have had to do such a thing. They took out my stair railing then reinstalled it with missing screws and its sideways! We did drop something heavy and it dented the floor. We purchased insurance and called within 5 days of accident. Empire sent out same contractors and came into my house speaking Spanish and laughing. Then empire tells me to pay to have repairs done. The installers did no wrong!! Then to make matters worst I try to get the problems fixed and they are refusing!Review fromCharles F

1 starWorst customer service ever. I have an 8000 square foot bldg that I need to re carpet. I called and they booked an appointment with a 2 hour window and they failed to show up or call to tell us they would not be able to make it. I called and scheduled a second appointment again with a 2 hour window and again they failed to show up. When I called to ask why, they said no one had been scheduled for the appointment. Again no one called to tell us their issues. I would NEVER do business with this company!Review fromRamiro S

1 starWe decided to put Hard Wood flooring in our home and Chose Empire Flooring to have the job Done. The Sales pitch Was Very Persuasive ensuring Us of a Worry-Free project. We were told that if the floor was damaged During or After the install, it would be Fixed as part of the Service Agreement at No Cost to Us. Our flooring flooring was Installed February 1, 2024, in June 2024 we Noticed Our Wood planks were Bubbling in one of the rooms that we had Installed. We called Empire to request to Replace the floor in this room, but Our Request was Denied due to the Service Plan ONLY Covering Accidental Damage vs. Damaged Product. Requested pictures Were Sent, and Empire Claims NO Record of them (I then Resent SAME pictures) We Spent over $10.000 on this flooring, and Feel that We were Very Misled. 2 Inspectors were Sent to the house, which We Could Not Understand as they Did Not Speak English. Stay Away from this Company. -******************************* *********************Review fromDonna M

1 starI had 2 installations done at my home. First installation was 2/28/2024 for a utility room and a bathroom. Second installation was 3/2/2024 a bedroom. The work done on the installation of the utility room was unacceptable. The bathroom was fine. The utility room made by pieced together pieces.glued together. Not straight level and in one case I could not even open the utility door. When the guys came on March 2 to do the bedroom I asked if they could fix the utility room, when they saw it, they said no we can't fix it but call the office this is not good.I called the office and sent pictures. The person I talked with said we will send someone out to fix it March 13.On March 13th the same man who did the actual work showed up. I was totally shocked they sent the same installer to fix mistakes he made. Put me in a very bad position to explain what was wrong with his work. He tried to explain to me that he really couldn't fix it because the molding previously there could not be removed and/or replaced based on how it was originally put down when house was built. I tried to listen and tell him this isn't what I wanted, and the salesperson never mentioned there was a problem. I felt sorry for the installer who kept asking me you don't like my work. He said he could try to put more caulk on it to hide cracks and would do best he could. He fixed 2 of the corners and said that was best he could do. Did not fix the problem. I should not have to train or discipline their employees and as a customer I should not be put in such an awful position.Being home alone with this man made me extremely nervous and is totally bad customer service.Review fromWendy D

1 starI purchased a bathroom floor. And even before 2 years my floor started coming up. I contacted the company they said that my installation warranty was only good for one year. I asked what we could do, they said we could file a claim but they would charge me an asset fee of $150 for them to come out and take a look and then they'll file the claim, but that does not mean it's going to get approved. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I paid a total of $1,600 for just a bathroom and it looks like c*** The installation guys that came to install it that day they were fighting with each other and continuously kept saying the f word to one another. I walked into the room that they were in and I told them to please keep it down and stop the cussing. After a while they did so I did inform the company of this matter when they contacted me to ask me how my flooring was. I do not have the money to have them come out and repair what needs to be repaired because all they want to do is charge me for everything. Again stay away from this company!Review fromCourtney G

1 starWorst company ever!!!! Floors were poorly installed and the product is trash!! They will find every loophole not to repair your floors but offer to give a new set of flooring after I spent $10,000 on the original. Please, please dont use this company. **************** is only good long enough to get a sale. I know our society has become very litigious over little things but this company absolutely deserves a lawsuit and to be put out of business!!!!!Review fromDavid B

1 starI should have paid attention to the reviews. Empire has screwed me over. The salesman was kind and helpful, but ended up ordering water resistant instead of waterproof. I could not tell which is which from the order form. We had it installed in March and the flooring is staring to lift. They a tech came and lock at it and said our house is too moist. Hello? I live in ***************. Everything is moist because of humidity. That is why we wanted waterproof and the salesman agreed that would be best. So, we thought he ordered what we discussed. Well, we were wrong. Now they are telling us it is our fault because we did not get the correct flooring and will have to pay to have the whole thing redone. I am still trying to grasp onto the fact that the humidity is my fault. The tech that showed up was the one who did the install and I had told them not send him again because he was rude and did not do what we paid him to do. The salesman actually had to take care of disposal even though we paid. Not to big of a deal because it was done, but I never want that guy in my home again.I have tried reaching out to the salesman and have not gotten a call back. I guess I should not be surprised. So, it is my quest to place this poor review as many places as I can find in hopes people will learn from my mistake.Review fromLi W

1 starCompany doesn't honor warranty on their product after shoddy job of floor installation is done. Products start out good then fails before warranty is out ,when you contact them they put you off forr Two years then contact you and says warranty doesn't cover. They give you the phone call run around as well. I hate I believed in their business.Review fromSusan L

1 starI had flooring put in my house in April. I did paid all in full before they finished. I have not had a problem in the past. I had asked for extra trim to go around my house other than the 3 bedrooms. The sales guy said they could do it no problem. So I paid in full. Well when I got installation going, they said they could not do that and they did not have enough material to even do it. They do not replace trim on existing flooring. The salesman was actually trying to get my refund. Now I think he is ghosting me. I have been waiting patiently for 3 months. My refund was a little under 500. Because could not do the trim in the rest of the house. I have had it. I would like my money to funded to me. Maybe even more for interest and very bad customer service. And, to top it off I also thought corner round was not suppose to be nailed into the floor. They have nailed it to the floor.. I had put up the trim myself that I needed done. I had no problem taking it off the existing floor. When I replace some trim around my doors, I had to take some base trim up that they installed. It was nailed to the floor. So really who do you have doing this flooring? I want some money back. I should not have to wait 3 months for a check. Very bad customer service. I will not use them and won't recommend them to anyone, I mean anyone.Salesman says one thing, installers say something else. Who the h*** to you believe. Bad service do not use them. There customer service really is bad.*************************
