  On February 7th I contacted Tax Refuge and associates to do my income taxes. The owner of the business is **** *******. I paid him 800 dollars to complete taxes and file them for me. Its been 2 1/2 weeks and they havent been filed yet. Ive tried to call his office, his personal cell phone number and texted him to no avail. His business phone number is ************. Ive also spoken to his secretary and she hasnt provided any help. If he isnt going to file I would like a refund of my money

  I sought out Tax Refuge and Associates based on a recommendation. I had a difficult tax situation and ****************** agreed to help me resolve it for $7000. I am aware that the work necessary to resolve it was extensive. I would have been willing to revisit the agreement, but on each of my subsequent visits, the topic never came up. This situation has now extended through another tax season. Also, circumstances beyond my control have forced me to to put my home on the market while searching for new home, and I was notified that a tax lien had been placed on my property. Since ****************** has been working with me to resolve tax issues, I contacted him and provided the documentation he requested, with a request to call me ASAP. I have called 5 times and stopped by the office 3 times. At each visit, I found no cars in the lot. Calls no longer go to a receptionist. They go to an answering service. I have lost faith in this business and am suspicious of its solvency. I want 1) a call from ******************, 2) a face to face meeting to determine the status of my case and 3) if the situation is reparable, a finish to the work.

  I pre-paid a $500 deposit for tax preparation services. I turned in all needed documents at the beginning of May. I did not hear back from the company until July. I called and sent several emails for 2 months. **** only responded after I asked my family members, who referred me to him, to reach out. **** (owner) wasnt even apologetic about being unavailable. We scheduled an appointment for July 13 8am-10am. **** never showed up. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed in Tax Refuge.
