  Paid for this show months ago because it was constantly postponed. Finally went in June, waited 5 hours for the hot air balloon show that never happened because it was cloudy and not storming as expected! I've contacted this company and was told I would have to wait a year to reuse my tickets and refused to refund my purchase!!!! I had family in town visiting and they were so disappointed! We have no intentions on waiting a year! I want my money back for a show that never took place!!!!!

  Hi. Unfortunately you purchased non refundable tickets.  This is a weather related postponement, and obviously something we cannot control. If you can’t make it, your tickets are good for 1) our rescheduled date 2) any other affiliated show or 3) next years show.  See our website below for upcoming balloon festivals.  This list changes frequently.  Thank you for your understanding.

  Beyond disappointed and frustrated with this business! We purchased tickets for their event last year for the Hot Air Balloon Show at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds for the Monday event. However, due to the weather, attendees had received an email stating that there was a big possibility that the balloons would not be going up but that they would honor the tickets for the event the following year and that we would receive updates. Nowhere in the email did it say that these tickets could be used at their many other events throughout the year or were we provided any sort of update on upcoming events or anything (never received a single email from either ******** or this company) regarding so. Having gone back and forth with both the event organizer and the ticketing platform, I’m being refused ticket refunds (they’re nonrefundable, but due to their own negligence and misinformation, I don’t have any use for the tickets and will not be supporting them in the future) and to use them at their other future events. If you’re going to honor unused tickets at future events, you would at least think to have them at the same venue as you previously did. I understand it’s a large event, but the fact that it’s so spread out and none of the new venues are clearly AS CLOSE AS THEY WERE is beyond wild. I’m not going to drag my family 2+ hours away when it was less than 5 mins away previously. Beyond shameful of them—judging by their other reviews on this site, seems like everyone else’s opinion is just as valid.

  I attempted to attend their event in Manassas, VA. Last year. Facebook reminded me of that FIASCO today. It was the Saturday festival. We were in line for Three Hours in standstill traffic. (We live 2 miles away!) Finally got up to the gate to be told; "The lot is full, but if you park elsewhere you can walk in. Or you can use your tickets tomorrow." So...... We work on Sundays, but because my husband really wanted to attend; we both took the day off to go. It was disappointing. A few balloons ready to inflate. A few food trucks. There was a kid zone; a few minor kiddie rides that needed tickets. We saw a few times where 1 of the balloons went up for the "rides" that people paid extra for; packed full, and the balloon went up a short distance on a tether. Not impressive. Most of the evening was spent sitting in our chairs (that we brought in) and watching the balloon handlers lay out and then pack up their balloons. I understand that it depends on the weather; and there were some winds; but when we paid to get into an event; there should be some activities that don't require more money. And the parking and traffic control; don't blame it on our police who were directing traffic coming in! Once we got on the lot it was you. There was no one directing parking. There was no sign even telling us which gate we were going in. Then a gate opened and some employees were walking around scanning tickets, or waving people through who said someone else had scanned them. It was a huge mess. I believe the entire operation could have been handled better. I've been to many outdoor events. Even events run entirely by boy scouts. And every one was run more smoothly than this fiasco. I will not attend another of their events. I don't recommend them to organize any event ever. It was that bad.

  The event they set up in Chattanooga TN said "Kids Zone has a Magic Show every 30 minutes and our FREE Inner Balloon Experience (weather permitting)" with kids ticket. It was not. They wanted another $20 for any of the bounce houses and and another $10 for rides on any of the attractions. The ticket website said "We will have a Kids Zone, with Games and Rides including trains, bounce house's, rock walls and much more!" there was no rock wall and again everything cost extra. The Laser light show was a joke with the lasers pointed only at the bottom 3 feet of the balloons and the balloons never left the ground. It had to be the lamest excuse for a show i have ever seen. The balloon rides only go up 50 feet in the air. We couldn't even see over the trees from there. We wanted a nice family outing and it was a complete disaster. I wish I could leave a 0 star rating.

  Unfortunately your experience was not as great as most who attended. This is a Balloon Glow and Laser Show it is not a mass ascension event where the balloons take off.

  If I could give zero stars I surely would. This event company plans poorly. I waited in my car line for 2hrs and 45mins to get in only to be told it’s closed. Then I was told from 3 people who got in that there were 6 balloons and the laser show was one laser light and there were very very minimal food trucks. Six balloons is not a balloon festival. I will never go to an event by this company again because it’s clearly a SCAM

  None of these things being said are actual experiences by the person filing this complaint. Except for the traffic. We emailed everyone that purchased tickets and told them we were experiencing traffic issues due to several unrelated traffic accidents. If they didn’t want to wait in traffic we would make their tickets good for the following day.
