            Approximately a year ago, on June 10, 2023, I reached out to Big Green Egg customer support regarding the warranty for my Big Green Egg. I received guidance and instructions via email on how to proceed with validating the warranty through *** Dealers on July 17.Since then, I have made multiple attempts to communicate with different *** Platinum Dealers, presenting the documentation and information as instructed by the Big Green Egg customer support team. Unfortunately, there has been no resolution to my warranty validation.On April 22, 2024, I wrote to *** customer support again, frustrated by the lack of resolution. While they responded promptly, they requested more information instead of focusing on solving the problem. This was despite having an email that validated my warranty, which I had used in my attempts to make it effective with the *** Platinum Dealers.On May 1, 2024, they decided not to honor either the warranty,

            Have had my egg for over 9 years, it is the only grill I use and couldnt have been more pleased. Until I had my a warranty claim, firebox and ring are both broken beyond repair, with BGE and they denied it as I dont have my receipt from 9 yrs ago, which I never got as it was a present for my 60th birthday.Long story short, went to the retailer whetted purchased and they dont maintain receipts past seven years, so went to bank where debit card used to purchase is attached and they dont maintain anything past 2017, I need records from 2015. On top of this I believe I registered my egg when received, but due to use I can not obtain the serial number, which apparently doesnt matter anyways as it wasnt asked for on the warranty claim form.Hence that lifetime warranty on these items is a figment of your imagination, as big a Green Egg enthusiast that I have been, when this one finally dies a ******************* maybe in my future.Side note, I a, not talking about an expensive part to purchase it is totally the principle.*******************
