I ordered 3 plants from the Ty Ty Nursery on ***** **, 2022. One ******* ********* plant 2-3 feet tall and two (2) ******* ******** ***** ****s 3 year old of bearing age. The one ******* Sdl grape arrived dead...a lifeless, dry piece of wood that the nursery people HAD to have known was dead when it was shipped. The blueberry was covered with fungus and disease and in extremely poor condition, the other grape was weak but I agreed to plant it and see if it would leaf out. The blueberry consequently died over the winter although the other 14 blueberries in that garden (ordered from another nursery) are fine (Ty Ty will spend months trying to convince their customers everything is their fault). The ******* grape also died over the winter although another grape planted on a nearby trellis is fine. Ty Ty initially tried to give me 'credit' for another grape and claimed I'd have to wait six months to order it. When I tried, their site said I had to spend about twice ($40 minimum) the credit or I could not order. I left the site and the credit unspent. I then approached them AGAIN this spring about the other two dead plants and they said there was nothing they could do until June 2023...after yet ANOTHER planting season has passed. Their site is currently shipping both species and they could easily honor their guarantee and ship everything now. At this point I want NOTHING to do with these criminal con artists and their 'delay till they go away' tactics. I want my $67.72 (Sixty-Seven Dollars and 72 cents) refunded IN FULL. The ONLY reason they are delaying processing my complaint until June is because it will carry it beyond the guarantee period after which they will just deny it altogether. These people should not be allowed to continue in business, they are con artists and thieves and there are 100s of complaints online stating same. NOTE: I attached original invoice, pictures of both dead grapes and the dead blueberry below

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is conditionally satisfactory to me. I would like to retain the option to reopen this complaint if the check fails to arrive, is not in the full amount of $67.72 and/or it fails to clear once it is deposited in my bank. If a final response is required, please contact me in 7 to 10 days as they have stated in a separate email that the check was being mailed this afternoon ************ Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

      Sincerely,

      *** *****

I placed an order in the amount of $193.70 for trees & some additional planting items. I was not aware of their "summer shipping" rules & when I learned I would not receive the plants & other items until October, I decided to cancel the order & get the plants elsewhere. According to their policy orders can be canceled without any "restocking fee" as long as the plants/trees have not been dug out & processed for shipping. Since the order was not going to be sent until October, there is no way they have been dug out & processed at this point. They replied saying they would cancel the order, yet they have not refunded my money. I have sent four (4) email messages requesting the refund be issued & I have called twice. The first call I was on hold for 23 minutes then automatically sent to a voice-mail system, I left a detailed message & requested a call or email reply. I did not receive any response. I called again & was on hold for 17 minutes before the connection was lost. I want a full refund immediately. It is poor business practice to charge someone, in full, if they don't plan to ship it for 3 months, anything can happen in that time to the company or banking institution, or who knows what. The fact they won't respond feels like a stalling tactic so they can then say the trees were dug out & then charge a restocking fee, or they have no intention to issue a refund at all.

On *** ***, 2022 I ordered a blueberry plant and 2 plum trees, order #******. My total was $108.62. The blueberry plant died and after going through their process was given a store credit for $25.28. The two plum trees came with no leaves and brown dead branch tips, but I was told that the trees were dormant and to give them time. It is now **** **, 2022 and the trees still do not have leaves and no appearance that they will produce any. The length of the dead branch tips is longer than when I planted them. I have two large sticks in my yard. When I attempted to use the store credit, I was unable to because I did not place a large enough order. With the poor quality of plants I received, I was not willing to purchase more. I have called with no response; emailed with only automated emails returned; and ******** messaged. I wish for a full refund of the $108.62 so I may purchase from a more reliable company.

I ordered 2 ************ trees. They arrived last Saturday and when I opened the box left at the door saw they were completely dead. I immediately emailed the company with no response. I've also attempted to call but cannot get through. I planted and tried to bring them back to life but every remaining leaf fell off within 2 days. They shipped me dead plants and wouldn't normally complain, but they were very expensive. I also tried file a claim on their site but that was 3 days ago and still no communication from the company. I would either like 2 new trees or a refund. I would gladly ship them back the dead trees they sent me.

Around June 2021, I paid over $230 for multiple trees. When they arrived, they were all dead. I I contacted the company and asked for a refund. They asked for pictures of the dead trees. I sent them, and eventually they gave me a $60 store credit, which is not even close to what I paid for and doesn't even cover the costs of replacing one tree. I asked again for a refund and not a store credit, but they stopped responding. I tried calling, but they also stopped answering the phone.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/09/20) */ We are sorry to hear about your trees. After review of your account, you was asked to send a picture of the trees as part of our plantsurance. Since the trees are shipped dormant we require a certain type of picture. Customer sent a picture of one tree and was given a credit for the exact amount paid for the tree. I will go ahead and extend the credit for the other tree as well. Please call us with any further questions.
