Doing illegal booty of semi trucks improper coloring of signs detaching airlines from loaded semi trucks in mine charging well over $575 or $590 for illegal and asking for 400 and some cash paymentBusiness Response

Tell us why here...I am **** **** representative of Buckhead Parking Enforcement and I am writing this letter to refute this chargeback. We are an immobilization/booting company that specializes in protecting our clients properties from damage inflicted from unauthorized parking by Semi-trucks and other Heavy trucks. When a driver ignores the signs, he/she is booted and charged a service fee for removal of the boots.
The cardholder ignored the signs (attached) at each entrance and parked his tractor trailer and was booted (pictures attached). The cardholder paid the service charge and the service of boot removal was preformed meaning the drivers vehicle was released from all booting devices.

This business needs to be shut down. Theyre not even credited by the BBB. They are booting trucks and not even giving the driver chances to move or leave even if its only been 30 minutes and they walk in and walk back out. Theyre even booting trucks that have paid for parking, and a man in the $575 the driver is already paid for parking. They are violating the federal driving law of transportation and scamming drug drivers. I pulled over to go in to use the bathroom came back out changing my clothes in my truck as I go back to the driver seat to leave their employee is standing outside my door first thing Im thinking its a homeless person because the car was just a little car, no signage on the cars saying who they are just some random dude giving you a piece of paper telling you youre booted as I have told the guy I was changing clothes fixing to leave he didnt care. He said you got paid to get the Boot off this money needs to be refunded back to me and my boss because that was that fair charge for only 30 minutesBusiness Response

On Aug 11th I parked@Walmart located@701 *************************************************I was planning on getting [email protected] arriving there were6 trucks parked in front.I parked behind the store taking the entrance on ******************* the back of the store parking lot, storage containers and trees cover the lot.I was parked in between those out of the way.I didn't see security. At 4:30am,there was a knock on the door, you couldn't see,the guy did not introduce himself, but stated that he had just put a boot on the truck and I needed to get off theproperty.without any verbal warning or any indication. There was a small ripped paper, that stated Buckhead Security,&that$1,200was due. The phone#to call was"dispatch" this was a personal phone line,&was unprofessional.I called the non emergency police line,&asked if this was a scam or actual procedure.3police arrived, they had stated this had just started almost 3 weeks ago. They had been called 17 times,&that these men have had a gun pulled on them , and could understand why I thought these men were scams.Police had stated they were annoyed with coming here nightly,&saw my side of the story&agreed. They stated they couldn't do anything until a crime had happened.I am working for a paycheck, away from home,&needed groceries. In the parking lot was a truck pulling a trailer where you would also need a CDL to drive,&campers where they had been living in the parking lot. These vehicles didn't have boots on them. There was a bobtail truck parked behind the building in a similar area,&got the same boot&ticket. They are only after truck drivers&do not have adequate signs posted where truck drivers enter on **************** or behind the building.Every 10 minutes after the boot was placed on the truck the security guy knocked on door,&stated he was going to call a tow truck. Then,I would be responsible for the tow&boot ticket. This was harassment. The company had stated they were hired by *******************Business Response

The person filing this complaint is not my client and I do not have a contract with Him or ************ company. The person filing this complaint is a parking violator.Customer Answer
Date: 08/28/2024
Complaint: 22142762
I am rejecting this response because:
The attached pictures from the "business" are completely misleading and innacurate. This company is a complete scam. Look them up with a simple ****** search and you will see. That white truck in the photo is not even my truck as my truck is black. The signs they have attached were absolutely nowhere near where my truck was parked. This is nothing but a rackateering scam and I would not be one bit surprised if the manager of this ******* is in on the entire thing. This is a get rich quick scheme at the expense of hard working truck drivers. I have been parking outback of *******s all the time for over 4 years and have never had this happen. It has absolutely nothing to do with PREVENTION of trucks parking on the property. They actually want trucks to park on the property so they can steal their money. If they wanted to prevent trucks from parking they would either install an 11 height foot entrance limiter so trucks could not get in, or they would install big signs all over the property that say "WARNING YOU WILL BE BOOTED". Contrary to what the scammers are trying to have you believe, they do not have these signs all around because drivers do not want to be scammed so they wouldn't park there if they knew this was going to happen. I had no idea this would happen and it caught me completely by surprise. They do not want to prevent drivers from parking there because all this is is a scam. They may have had one small sign outfront of this ******* but I was parked outback. I came in the truck entrance and was parked outback and there was no sign around me. Also if me being parked where I was parked was really a problem they should not have immobilized my truck. Causing me to stay parked there for another hour and a half. If my truck was really a problem parked there they would have wanted it moved out of the way as soon as possible. The soonest way to get my truck out of the way would have been to knock on my door and ask me to move and I would have moved. I am a ******* customer and I had planned on going in ******* when they opened at 6am and buying groceries. They booted my truck with 0 warning whatsoever. They were quiet and sneaky about it. They tampered with my truck without my consent. They removed my air line and installed an air lock without my consent. This company really needs to be held accountable legally. How this is even legal is beyond me.
Sincerely,

This company is a scam they put these little signs up that you dont see and not being funny the sign wasnt even up when I parked here and then they knock on your door after they put a boot on you and demand $575 to remove it when you couldve just knocked on my door to begin with and told me I couldnt park here And the gentleman is telling me they have a no knock policy. Will you knocked on my door to tell me to pay you 575 then you couldve knocked on my door and told me I couldnt park here. You have one no parking sign at the end of this driveway by the road , not facing me not where I can see it visibly. Its bent up like it just got put up there or something like that. Scam Has to be stopped there has to be limits and rules to this truck drivers work too hard for this, especially when you seen my light on in my truck. All you had to do was knock and say you cant be parked here, and I would have politely moved , considering my truck engine is still hot. I just stopped. This is a scam anyone in the right mind its a scam everywhere else in this parking lot has signs everywhere ASAP towing no parking except for this little one corner that has no signs except for all the way at the road facing the road , if you dont come in that way, you wont even see that sign because the back of that sign doesnt say anything on it and then not being funny the way they boot the truck can actually cause damage to the brakes which means Im now paying to get my brakes fixed because they dont even know how to really honestly put boots on trucks its absurd. and the signs that he did the one time he showed me literally looks like this postcard Im all the way in ************ ******* you are authorized in ********** ******* if Im not mistaken why are you way down here in ************ ******* booting trucks like I feel like its a scam youre scamming drivers in ******* truck drivers at that hard honest working truck drivers and its wrong something needs to be doneBusiness Response

Buckhead Parking Enforcement is registered and authorized to operate in the Sunshine **************** and protect our clients property from damage from heavy trucks and trailers. Our signs are 18x24 and bigger than the tow signs on the lot. You are a professionally trained driver who knows not to park your Semi Tractor trailer on private property without authorization.
Please take this experience and read the signs.
