Prior to moving into my apartment with this property on August 11th, 2022, I paid a $250 refundable deposit to them that I would have received back once moved out when my lease ended. When July 31st came, after cleaning out my room and apartment of my belongings I asked *******, the property owner, to do a walk through of my apartment with me. She refused and said it was because she had too many other units to go around to so i should just drop my key into the drop box. I did so, but also took my own pictures of my space for my own records. after receiving my refund from them, i only got back $9.80 and they said they took my money to conduct a deep bed and bath cleaning on my room which it didn’t need on my behalf. The room is subject to the walls being painted again when any one else moves in anyways. My walls were fairly clean for some one who lived in the room for a year and was not damaged in any way. When my parent and I called ******* to resolve the issue, she was rude and also did tell my parent she refused to walk through my apartment with me because she had other apartments to go around to. Also, while trying to get clarity and understanding from *******, she was very rude to my mother and I. Eventually unprofessionally hanging up in our face in the middle of my mother speaking. Attached are images that were taken of the space by me on July 31st. My mother and I demand our refund back from this distasteful apartment company. She is automatically at fault for one not even wanting to walk through my apartment with me at the time of departure. She willingly kept my security deposit, then made up something on me as to why. Unacceptable for me. She has been rude and unwelcoming from the start to finish of my lease with them as well. She isn’t a good business woman what so ever.
