I contacted this clinic to establish services with Dr. Sheddy who was listed as a provider on my ****** ********** eligibility list. Upon calling, I was told that there was a new provider that was also covered through ****** *********** that had sooner availability. I agreed to see this provider, with their assurance that their would be no problem with the insurance. Unfortunately, the provider they asked me to see was not in network until 10 days after the appointment that they scheduled me for. Due to this, I'm left with a $405 bill, that I feel is unfair. I should have only had to pay my copay. Since receiving this bill on *********** I have documented over 45 calls to this facility attempting to resolve the issue. They continue to tell me that their person in billing is only a part-time employee, and no one seems to be able to help me resolve the issue. I've spoken with their office manager and multiple front desk people, who insist someone will call me back, and no one ever does. It is embarrassing to me to have this outstanding bill, when I have been trying to resolve the bill informally prior to filing this complaint. I feel the clinic lied to me about the provider, and now refuse to take my calls in hopes that I will just pay the bill and I will not. It is unfair and I'd like the courtesy of a call back, and feel the bill should be dissolved given I've been trying to contact them about it now for almost 8 months. Please help.
