    I found this business advertising on ******** marketplace and me and my boyfriend hired them to replace drywall in our master bathroom/bedroom, kitchen, living room, hallway, and spare bathroom, fix subflooring in our master bedroom that required around 4 sheets of OSB board from our measurements, take down a cabinet in our kitchen on the wall and fix the drywall behind it, move our refrigerator and place flooring that was provided underneath it since it didn’t have any under it previously and place flooring over the subflooring in the master bedroom, reframe our front door, and fix around a 12x12 part of the floor in my oldest sons room. We agreed to a price of $7000 including materials for all the work to be done and when they came to work they asked for $3500 up front for materials so we sent them that amount via cash app and due to having 3 children and 2 of them being under the age of 3 we got a hotel for 8 days and when they said they were finished we went to look at the work they did and only maybe 6 new sheets of drywall were put in and not correctly, they used 2 sheets of roof sheathing instead of OSB board, left wires exposed, used 1x4s to frame our front door and looks like spare pieces from a prior job and it’s crooked, cut our hose, messed up our hot water heater to where it needs to now be replaced when they “fixed” the flooring under it, they left drywall dust on every part of our house including our children’s clothes, bassinet, swing, food, etc. so we had to pay to have it cleaned before even returning home, and they blocked our trash cans and caused fines. We ended up giving them another $1500 when they threatened to put us in collections making it $5000 in all that we paid them. We would like our $5000 back since we have to repair everything that they were supposed to repair and more.
