My car had a extended warranty for the engine head gasket replacement. I had my car diagnostic for my engine overheating, I took it to this *** *********** with my results from the diagnostic test, that state it was the engine that caused the overheating..the *** service ***** rep **** told us that our documents we got from another repair show was fake, and that they had to do a diagnostic themselves, and come to find out, it was true.. the *** service member ****didn't even apologize to me..so they had to order a new engine, it took 2months to get it. During the wait, *** gave me a rental, but then started adding all theses other charges I had to pay inorder for the car to work properly. Ridiculous dollar amounts. I refused to pay them and told *** that I will come tow my car to another shop to get the other repairs done,upon picking up my car, I paid *** for the engine holes, ect.. but my car was missing from the dealership , come to find out it was repossessed .so they made sure I paid something to them ..but i feel that they had my car taken once my new engine was placed in the car and I refused to pay for other repairs. I'm suing *** now, for letting my car get repossessed from there locked gateCarriage Kia of Woodstock

The lienholder didn't communicate with us they were planning on picking up your, we didn't have any issues with you towing your vehicle to complete your remaining repairs elsewhere. We apologize for the situation but your issue is with your lienholder not Carriage Kia of Woodstock. We didn't allow them to repossess your vehicle they are the owner of the vehicle until the loan is paid in full.Review fromShaun M

1 starI called after my dealer called me on recalls to my car *** ****** ******************************************** line but that doesn't seem matter to them as they stood around know been waiting before others. Like was ignore I guess when englishman you get treated like s*** I ask for person spoke to on phone but ****** told nobody works there by name ***** when the operator tells me ***** running late. And 2 other knew *****. Anyway after I told my car not covered under this and that by ****** and told I need pay $179 for diagnostic when I told him nothing been found by fix reader I had and Mobile Machnic who I had come out earlier last week. My car was trying stop the back light brake light keep staying on as I drive. And car come to stop without applying breaks. So how if now bodly else get reading how did Carriage **** We'll I believe the cleared the computer and had Rio me off on doing what was ****** on recalls. My horn work before they got hands on it but not when I left. Other recall come in my door on update software but I not see them perform it ****** does not say on paper work what $179 was charge for infact nothing is clear. They wanted $360 for brake switch I spoken other places and not cost that I buy one for $25 and get put on for $80. I think Carrage *** needs hand my $179 back. They have not deserve my business. 1 starTook my 2015 Kia **** exclaim there for an oil consumption test and was told I passed although my oil was burning and I had to replace the catalytic converter due to being clogged with oil. There was a recall on my car for the engine and was told to take it to the nearest dealer for an engine inspection after my engine light started flashing and car went into limp mode. I had it towed there and was told my car is burning oil and I need a new engine but since its not the rod bearing its not covered under the recall. Today I wanted my car towed out of there and my husband was told by ****** it would be $185 for the diagnostic. This was a recall engine diagnostic that is supposed to be free! This is not ok. I wasnt told that prior to having the car towed there and I didnt sign anything agreeing to that. I have opened a case with Kia ******* and think its time to get an attorney involved on being charged for a safety recall and Kias burning oil issue that caused my engine to seize. To add insult to injury they told me I passed my oil consumption test. And Now have no car and they want to charge me for a recall diagnosis.Review fromKelly P

1 starI dont know where to begin! They kept my car for two weeks would not return calls with an update. Finally they tell us that its not what they thought ($600 repair) and that it will actually be $5500! Not one repair needed is covered by the warranty! Its a circuit for goodness sake! How is that not covered? We were encouraged several time s to just file it with our insurance. I will never return to any *********** shop and I will never buy another **** There people should be held accountable!Review fromFrank L

1 starDo not purchase anything ***************** is horrible. Suddenly our warranty doesn't cover what "they" say needs to be fixed and found over a thousand dollars worth of other repairs? We have used them since 2018 to keep warranty in place and now when time is up they "find" all these issues??? Stay far away!!!! And charged us for the so called diagnostic part??? We are not letting them touch the car anymore. We are taking our car to someone more reliable and truly cares. We will not recommend *** anymore.Review fromWangari K

1 starI agree and wish I read this...The managers racial profile you.As per GA gov ******** law of your financing does not go through.. you have 3 business days to return the car.They started bullying and threatening me to pay for the car, telling me they would keep my trade in, if I left the car they would tow the car to my house and charge me....went on to ask me to get a lawyer! Behind them was a white consumer complaining of some other issue and you would see the reaction. I recorded ALL conversations and I refuse for another person irrespective of color to be treated like this. And yes no worries you cannot force one to finance with you or purchase with you.Review fromBruce B

1 starI am the buyer of a used 2014 ************** purchased through Carriage **** I also purchased a full wrap extended warranty for which I was told covers anything that *** fail on the car. At 125K miles the engine started knocking and I asked for a service date at Carriage Woodstock. I was told they were out 30+ days before they could even see it. The car was released for warrant work to ***************** *** ******** where they diagnosed the engine as failing and would need a new engine. To my surprise the warranty I bought would only cover less than half of the repair! I have bought from Carriage twice and I was under the impression that I would be taken care of through the life of ownership for the vehicle warranties weve done business for. I know have learned that different *** dealers use different warranty companies to back up their vehicles. ***************** uses a completely different vendor than Carriage. I have already paid out diagnostic fees and they wanted me to pay for the break down of the motor which I could not afford to do. They have you sign everything on an iPad - there are pages they DON'T show you that have you agree to THOUSANDS in fees on top of your "out the door" agreement price. Deceptive, shady, WRONG, and low integrity. They KNOW what they did, because when confronted, they admitted it! Unfortunately, they said I "already signed it." Then they claimed they were missing my down payment. I am seeing what action I can take against this business but in the meantime, stay away and go give your money and investment to a better business.Carriage Kia of Woodstock

A service customer, to say the least they don't seem to like black people. *** and the male white advisor speaks differently to black customers than white customers which is unfortunate. This is something I have observed in a few visits. Think Carriage **** how many black people come in and buy a vehicle. How many black employees? Ok now how many like my family bring 3 old *** vehicles into your service department. We are not the problem; we are actually sending your kids to college. You and the rest of the businesses in Georgia need to get over it. Bet on your bottom line and fire these racist that believe ***** won the election. So on top of discrimination the owner is trying to bully black customers. Just because he insult people, researched my email and name (Fake to not bring negativity to my brand) don't mean I wasn't a customer. Next I will take my complaints to *** corporate office. I have been a customer here multiple years, someone from corporate or BBB feel free to email or chat with me here. Do BBB think the owner should have responded to my review the way he did? Even if I was lying, or dumb which I am not. I will continue to visit there because I observed this behavior, my advisor was amazing on the day in question. Funny the racist are insulted when we call racism. I'm speaking up for someone else lol. The owner's response makes me believe the culture there is exactly what I said. How can an owner perform an investigation in less than a half hour and instantly feel it's not his staff. His response here is a copy qnd paste from my ****** review and I can prove that He didn't genuinely respond here. Furthermore that I'm not a customer. Not only am I a customer, my Mother In Law, wife, and Son are to and I can prove that. Bad ****** reviews the owner insults you and block your email from reviews in the future, I can prove that. Check out the link to the review the comment that started all of this as well as his response . You won't see it because he erased it.
