*** Paid $189.95.I called the appliance company on 4/29/22 because I had a problem with my Freezer collecting water and then leaking out. I asked specifically, to be reassured, they were authorized Summit refrigerator repair specialists. The website said it was a brand they fixed as did the woman on the phone. The website states there is a one year warranty on parts and Labor. I was told a repairman could come the next day Saturday the 30th of April he missed the appointment but made it out the next day on May 1st. *************************** said the defrost drain was clogged with a piece of styrofoam and cleaned it out. The process took about 25 minutes. I left town on the 5th of May and saw no issue. I did not get back until June 14th to find water collecting on the bottom of the freezer just as it had been before the repair job. I called customer ********************** on June 16th and told them the problem still existed. I was told the repair man was on leave and I would be charged a service fee to come out and determine the problem. I was told it had been over 30 days. The website very clearly states one year parts and labor warranty. There is no mention of having to pay service fees to resolve the same issue as the labor warranty would cover. The problem was clearly not fixed. I asked to speak with a manager and was told I would get a call back. I never did. I called again July 15th and again was told the manager was on leave, at this point I told customer ********************** if I didn't get a call back on Monday the 18th I would have to seek a solution outside of the company. I also made a call to the owner ***************** at the parent company ******************* LLC and left a message asking to have my call returned as the company was not adhering to the advertised warranty on their website and was in fact fraudulent in the advertisement of being Summit appliance repair servicers. The advertising is intentionally misleading or not adhered to.
