  Hi, my names *************************************. I went to tint shop Hawaii on Wednesday July 5th 2023.Location *********************************** Hawaii, I went the owner ***** told me it would cost $20 for 20 min, to remove the tint off my car. He began telling me that there is "glue" residue that he would have to scrape off and it would take more time and threw out $160 total, which is an outrageous markup to the quote given over text and false advertising. I pled with him "if it takes less time please consider reducing the price" as I would have to pick my car up 4 hours later and couldn't hold him accountable for how long it actually took to remove the tint. I dropped my car off at 12:30 and at 2:30 he texted me saying it was done If he went by his $20 for 20 min rule it should have only been $120... when I went to pick my car up I asked how long it took. And he couldn't even give me an answer. Not only do I feel as if Kanai is dishonest. His workers left my windows looking horrible with streak marks on the inside of all of my windows. I brought my car back and he had such a bad excuse to why my windows were left with residue "we were going to wash the car but it would've taken two more hours, also we don't like to wash cars when you know there are leaves by your hood" Also his business Hours says he closes at 9pm, but he told me in person when I dropped my car off that he closed at 3:30. Not only did I l feeling as if I was taking advantage of, but his mission as a business "Here at Tint Shop Kakaako, our mission is to always provide quality service at an affordable price" is far from the truth. Please make this right as he is contributing to money laundering by taking my payment to a personal Venmo account. Please take time out of you day to look at his yelp reviews for yourself. he replied to my yelp review with outrageous accusations of me being " entitled" and that I had dog hair in my car? This comment from a business owner is honestly embarrassing.Alexandria

  Hi this is the receipt. He said he has Venmo so I Venmod him to his personal account for it. He as the record to the transaction that I signed. I never actually given a formal receipt which I thought was odd, but the Venmo shows the day I went along with addition text messages from the owner. (Same number as shown on all business contacts )

  Thank you for your responses unfortunately your venmo doesnt reflect anything that  "Tint Shop Hawaii' but instead through a personal account

  which is not connected with the business I see you that there where serval social media accounts that reviews where posted that "TSH'' doesnt own. At this time ''TSH" will need more to go on to further help or comment of this issue. If there is a problem with the account that you paid please responded directly to that account.

  I am rejecting this response because regardless if the Venmo stated  TSH, the owner is always changing  his  name of the business online to avoid confrontation. Used to be called lava tinting, then discount ******** TSH 
   Regarding Venmo it went to the owner of the business which should be plenty of proof itself for the service that was done to my car.  I got the tint removed at  the business location. Right now the owner is beating around the **** trying to find excuses for lack of quality and honestly in his work. Its quite frustrating how this is just going into circles with no accountability or action taken.  I need someone else to get involved with this matter please due to the owner being in complete denial of anything that Im saying.

  Thank you for bearing with us 90% of our time have been volunteering for Maui wildfires so our cell service is limited . The transaction is with ********** Brantome (AB) and Express Tint Hi with a sign contract that fully states Express Tint Hi. No contract is with Tint Shop Hi (TSH). TSH only uses the **** Queen st address for mailing use only and has done since march 2020. TSH is a wholesale only ie contracts car dealership fleet service multiple cars at on location. On July 5 2023  2016 ******************* charcoal car 9 windows  Again AB had request service to make her car legal due to she had illegal tint applied . A general sample video was provided via text due to she did not know enough about her illegal tint and to help her she needs to help us at Express Tint Hi.   Express Tint Hi was not able to accommodate her after taking a sample of her illegal tint normally a 4 hour service with 1 person AB needed asap and had agreed to an expedited price of $160 per service order and needed in 2 hour to get to work by 2:30 this would take 3 person team or 6 man hours . 2:36 pm AB texted to see if it was finished    4:40 pm AB showed up to pick up her car at that time AB paid $160 through KS Venmo    4:50 AB had texted about streak marks on her window but texted Ill get over it Express Tint Hi insisted she come back would only take a few seconds to wipe clean .  July 7 2023 9:17 am AB had texted about window tint for $100 and to make is legal ExpressTint Hi Texted back its $100 per 5 windows her cars has 9 windows AB then called and said I want you to redeem yourself and give me a better price or Ill give you a 1 star review if you dont   Do better than $100 Express Tint Hi staff explained that it not possible because her car is in dire need of a cleaning and dog hair is throughout the entire car get it clean and disinfected then it may be possible. She started to scream and said there no dog hair in my car I havent had a dog in 5 years(??) end. Per Hawaii state law a customer MUST give a shop 3 times to make it good. Or get a full refund. Customer wanted to make her car legal and Express Tint Hi had done just that  The price had been agreed with per Express Tint Hi signed service order per Venmo payment and  2 days after that It only when AB wanted a better price and didnt get it did she become combative over the phone and her reviews . Express Tint Hi will still stand behind the work and service that AB requested was completed.  Per our nearest competitor website says Tint removal is $300.00 Express Tint Hi price $160 Tint install is $484.00. Total $784.00    Express Tint Hi price $180.    Total $340 Express Tint Hi would love to help her and still honor the $100 per 5 windows but she Must detail here car free of dog hair and get it disinfected. Furthermore if AB can have a provide service order ,invoice , sign on building **** Queen st that states TINT SHOP HAWAII . TSH would kindly pay 100% of her tint removal. As per ********** the dog hair cause 1 worker medical assistant due to a breakout and 2nd other workers also felt ill and also needed medical attention it wasnt till 5 days later it was later discovered of the illness and  They havent been back to work since.   The extra 2 hours 2:36 to 4:40 parking had been paid by Express Tint Hi @ $25 a hour. Please let Express Tint Hi know when you be getting your car detailed so we can provide you with our service. *********** Strong The above was sent 10 days ago Today is aug 31,2023 1.customer agreed to price ********** car passed inspection  ********* Tint  Hi given her an 80% discount  4.Express Tint Hi had paid for AB extended 2 hour parking @$25 per hour   At this time employees are asking for AB car insurance due to overwhelming medical cost and not being able to work please supply.
