Took my 5 year old daughter to the office in ********************* to do her first checkup and the first checkup went well, she had a lot of anxiety going and I made sure to let the staff know she was scared. She needed to get a silver cap put in and the doctor recommended extracting one of her bottom back teeth that was causing her discomfort, which we scheduled for another visit. When we went in for her second appointment with Dr. ****************** the nurse had put her into a cocoon to keep her from moving during the procedure, which made her feel immediately scared and nervous, but she remained quiet and still while we waited for the Dr to come. Dr. ***************** came in and had zero bedside manners. He didnt talk to her or try to make her feel comfortable, he went straight to opening her mouth, didnt bother to explain to her or me what he was doing so we knew what to expect. He began with injecting her with numbing medication, and she immediately began to cry. Instead of comforting her, he started raising his voice to her telling her to stop! I was able to console her once he finished numbing her. When he started removing her tooth she began crying and screaming, he shouted at her to STOP IT! Im not exaggerating at all, when he shouted the nurse immediately looked at me, she could tell I was furious. I asked them to stop, and he did, I questioned him if she is completely numb because I was concerned of the way she was screaming and ripping the skin off my hand as I held hers. He responded as if he was irritated and she is. During the remainder of the procedure he shouted at her, held her head down with his hand, and I felt helpless because it was too late to for me to leave. They had already began removing her tooth. This was my daughter SECOND visit in her life to a dentist and ***************** was so rude and impatient with my child & cut her lip! I will NEVER take her there again and warn everyone who has children NOT to either. ********** has no business doing pediatric care!
