  Paid in full for siding services not completed. Sought refund, and only received partial. Took almost a year to get any refund whatsoever.First off, measurements were wrong. This contractor should have known that. When subcontractor made him aware, he ignored. I had to remeasure and seek additional funds from insurance. Secondly, I paid in full for the job, $3,200, November, 2021. *** secured a few more materials, but not enough. Due to lack of responsiveness, I requested a refund minus materials so that I could hire a sub directly. I hired same subcontractor, who's price was $2,200. ***** refund was $1,123.66, which was much less than the subcontractor's cost. I have emails where he told me he would refund the difference, his refund was obviously less than his subcontractor's bid. No accounting of costs incurred was ever received. Further, I had to bear the cost of remaining materials, which were $329, as well as other supplies: vents, nails, etc. When I asked *** about those supplies, he stated that he had already given them to the subcontractor, even though no such transaction ever took place. According to the cost of siding, he should have refunded me an additional $1,476. or so, depending on costs of materials. None of this takes into account the months of waiting and time that I had to spend pursuing responses from ***. I have all texts of promises and excuses made.
