On 12-13-24 my girlfriend had new tires put on the **** we picked up a nail the weekend before and chose to get a set of new tires. I noticed when installing the spare tire that 3 of the lug nuts where non-capped(no chrome cover over the end of the nut), functionally there was nothing wrong with them just no decorative chrome cover. She set an appointment to have the tires replaced on 12-13-24, after a bit of time the service writer came in and informed her that three of the lug nuts could "not be tightened down" and that "they will have to replace all the lug nuts, the cost is $3 a lug nut". She argued that, "that was ridiculous and asked to see and keep the old lug nuts". Miraculously they couldn't locate the supposed damaged 3 lug nuts that could no longer be tightened down or the other 17 lug nuts, and that she would have to pay the 60 dollars for a set of 20 new lug nuts because they can't install the wheels without them. Because 3 lug nuts did not visually match, Trickles forced her to replace all 20 lug nuts, 17 of which did match, or they couldn't give her the *** back. I, a male, have taken numerous vehicles, trailer tires, and equipment tires in to Trickles over that past ********************************************************************************* I have also recommended them to numerous people, because of my experience. I know this behavior is common place in the auto industry because there is the view of "she's a girl and she doesn't know what we are even talking about". I know if it would have been a male individual that took the *** in for tires, Trickles would have never forced them to buy a whole new set of ****************************************************** safety!
