We purchased 2 trucks through Car-Mart of Burlington with promise to get the bed frame fixed on one and added the coverage to have any mechanical problems fixed, which was an extra charge. One truck is a 2008 **** Super Duty and the other is a 2007 ***** Silverado. The **** truck has a broken bed and the motor ticks so bad it needs replaced. Both things were promised to be fixed by the general manager at that time. Later she made a remark that it was a work truck so she wasn't going to fix it. She is no longer employed there. Still have not had either thing fixed. The ***** truck is the main concern and I have even reached out to the operations manager through the "chain of commands" (according to Car-Mart employees) and started a case 4 weeks ago and still have not been contacted by, I, believe his name is ***. (He has been asked multiple times by multiple people to reach out to me to have these issues and concerns resolved.) The issue we have with this truck is after taking it to have the fuel pump replaced the mechanic and also a body shop has deemed this vehicle non road worthy due to the frame being completely rusted out and cracked. The frame looks like it was caulked with window caulking and spray painted to cover this up. I have been trying to get this resolved so my son can buy a vehicle that is road worthy and am not having any luck. I am going to contact an attorney soon. Car-Mart has offered to trade his truck with something different or buy it back for only the principal paid. Neither of these are acceptable. It is not legal to see a vehicle the way they sold the ***** truck, and it shouldn't be the buyer's job to deem a vehicle road worthy. I want to get this resolved and I don't think Car-Mart employee's care. Please help!

I purchased a van from CarMart. Shortly after we purchased it the battery went bad. They charged us for a used battery which we paid full price for. The van continued to glitch and fail to start on numerous occasions due to lights randomly coming on while it was sitting unattended. When you put the key in the ignition it would turn the headlights on automatically even though you never turned the key. The stereo would play with van off but would lock once van was turned on. The next time it would all work the opposite way. This caused the battery to drain and eventually killed the battery so we had to purchase another one. After we changed the battery the alternator went out and caught fire. I replaced the alternator and the new one fixed the issues for two days and then it went out just like the previous one did. I ended up junking out the van and purchasing a truck from them. I have only had it a week and it is starting to present the same issues as the van. When I lifted the hood I noticed both battery posts were severely corroded. The underneath was rusted badly and covered with a rust undercoating. There is a clunking in the axle of the truck. The steering wheel is not straight. The idler pulley is squealing bad. The windshield moves when you push on it because they have a foam strip holding it in place. It is not sealed. You can literally push on the windshield and it moves. When you press on the accelerator it makes a turbo whining sound but does not accelerate until it warms up. It went from smooth driving and clean appearance truck to seriously faulty parts within 1 week of purchase. There are numerous other issues as well.
