    I purchased a sectional in 2022 and within a few months the fabric was breaking down. Showing threads lifting from fabric making it fuzzy. Complaint put in and I received a replacement sectional. When the item arrived it also had significant fabric fabric defect. I did not notice it at first but it became noticeable in a few days. A complaint was filed AGAIN and requested a refund for a chair with pilling and the sectional. They sent out someone from somewhere to check the damage. This person had no ID and dressed like a construction worker and doubt he had any experience/certification evaluating fabric. He hardly spoke and only took pictures. I never received his report but he knew I had a dog. The living room with the sectional has a gate and the dog is not allowed in that room unless I am there. He reported the the damage was caused by my dog and showed claw marks. This is absolutely a lie and Lazy Boy customer care said they had to go by this person's evaluation. They said the damage was in home and they can't refund me. I requested another person with expertise for a correct evaluation. NOTHING! When I was in this local store the manager(*****) would not help resolve this issue and when a said this may result in litigation he said he could not talk to me and chased me out of the store yelling with customers around. I tried to call the next day to hopefully sit down and discuss things. He hung up on me. I have not received anything but a email which I don't know how to send it to you.I am feeling disrespected and horrified by the care I have received. I am asking for a refund and hope you can help. I have also contacted ************** who I bought the products through. They filed a dispute and will also try to resolve this. I will continue with Iowa State Attorney and others as stated in your website if you are not successful. Thank you for your attention and time with this complaint.

    We ordered two power recliners and one power sofa on February 18th 2023. We received the two recliners the last Saturday of May and they were poor quality and did not look like the furniture that we sat in in the store in cedar rapids. The two recliners are wrinkled on the arms the seat and the back as if there's not enough padding. We also have still not received or sofa. About 2 weeks ago I was able to talk to our salesperson Ray and he said the sofa was damaged and sent to a warehouse for repairs and they would let us know or give us updates. We have not received any updates. Anytime I try to call any number that was given to me it goes to the voicemail of the cedar Rapids store. I leave messages and get no response at all. We do not know what steps to take next. We call customer care because we did purchase the warranty but it goes to the black hole and nobody answers please enter your choice.
