  We hired Heartland after a hailstorm in April 2020. Our house had roof damage, and Heartland was very helpful at convincing our insurance company we needed a new roof. They did not work on our house until August, the day of a massive storm, resulting in a huge amount of damage to our house. While the insurance company worked with us to have this fixed by a professional building contractor, the siding, which was also damaged in April 2020, was not repaired until June 2021, only after about ten contacts. Again, the claim was that the delay was on the insurance side. The work was fine, but by the time we had our work done, it was already over a year past the original damage. We sold this house in March 2022, and I JUST received a bill in November 2022 for work done OVER A YEAR AGO, on a house that is NO LONGER OURS. This company is very, very slow, their billing department is atrocious (clearly) and their work, while of good quality, took every ounce of my wife and my energy to get done. It should not take over a year to fix a roof and some gutters. Our entire house was fixed inside in the time they took fix our roof. It certainly should not take 2.5 years to get a bill to us for the work. I just paid our bill (as I respect the fact that work was actually done) but will never do business with Heartland again. I have so more negative things to say, but these people are not worth any more of my time. If this was accepted by BBB as a complaint, believe me, it would have been submitted as one. Do not hire these people.

  Had hail storm damage in early 7/22. We had constant knocks on the door from local and out of state roofers. We researched local roofers through BBB and found great rating and reviews for Heartland. Contacted them for an estimate and soon had "Jake from Heartland" working with us and our insurance company. We were soon on their schedule. They were here when promised, done in one day including cleanup. Everyone we worked with was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Couldn't have been happier. In fact, when a second hail storm rolled through 7 weeks later, we got to do it all over again. Same results with Heartland.

  Wanted a "facelift" on my home and procured 5 estimates for roof/siding/gutters. Selected Heartland due to the professionalism of ****** (Salesman) who answered every question and followed through on each and every request. This was particularly important as supply chain issues delayed the siding aspect of the job. The house was roofed in the fall of 21 which was when I met ****, the ramrod on the project. The new roof was accomplished expeditiously and clean up was immaculate. Siding was accomplished in spring of 22 and once again **** ramrodded the project to our ultimate satisfaction. Were there problems? Sure there were ... its gonna happen with a 30 year old home. Even so, ****** assessments were spot on and his suggestions for corrective measures and materials showed his professional expertise and experience. His commitment to "getting the job done right!" was apparent and his crew worked like it. Most importantly, he was easy to work with which made the whole process easier. No job can be accomplished without good admin. Hats off to Yomarie and ****** and the rest of the staff! My single most important consideration in any project is good communication. Throughout the process I worked with approx 6 persons all of which whose communication responses were succinct and timely (which makes me think its a company trait.) Lastly, cost. Let's put it this way, upon receiving the final invoice I paid it immediately ... just in case it was in error. Yes, I'm kidding. Given the amount of repairs as well as the job accomplished the final numbers were quite reasonable. Final Assessment: If I had it all to do over again, Heartland would be my first call. Do yourself a favor...make Heartland your first call.
