      Wellabe does not pay!!! I have a hospital indemnity plan with them. I and my insurance provider both submitted what they asked for several times when contacted they kept asking for the same information. It was an itemized bill from the hospital!!! They still would not pay almost a year later. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Read the ratings 3 is as high as they have ever been rated.

      If there were an option to give a negative 10, I would. Outside of one employee, this company is the worst. I would literally rather be sick without insurance than use this company again.I am a few months into my second nightmare situation. I wont even get into the first ************ October of 2024, the health insurance company ****** medico set me up with did not want to pay out for routine yearly physical. So seguro canceled my insurance with that provider and set me up with a new provider. They told me I would get a full refund for the policy we canceled within 2 buisness weeks. Surprise, here we are over 3 months later without the refund. (Close to $4000 that Im waiting on)They also told me they were going to get the overdue bill situation straightened out with my healthcare provider. (The bill was for a physical on 12/18/23. This bill has been overdue for over a year)Surprise, they didnt take care of the bill and now it is going to collections where it can potentially double. For my own mental sanity, I am trying not to get worked up but every time I try to call to get a hold of them,Im on the phone for 45 minutes. After *********************************************** the person I need to talk to is unavailable. I honestly feel like the manager avoids my calls on purpose. Ive left numerous voicemails for her just asking for a simple update and I cant even get a call back. If youre gonna make me wait a year for the this refund, at least do me the courtesy of letting me know what is going on.Once again, just like the first time, I am in a situation that I am wondering if Im gonna have to kiss $4000 goodbye. I am also excited to see if my credit score gets affected by the overdue health bill that is not resolved.For the record, the only helpful employee Ive found is Dezerea. She is an online chat representative and she seems to be the only person there willing to help me: Thank you, Dezerea!

      Do not waste your time with this company. Over a hour of waiting to talk with someone who could not resolve any issues. Imagine, like I did, trying to resolve any claim issue. Also imagine that as a country, if we didnt have to pay all the administrative overhead and just provided healthcare like nearly EVERY other country in the economic top tier. What a ***** game!

      I have had several plans with Medico and American Republic. I have never had any issues and customer service has always been excellent.

      Seguro Medico Insurance Company, formerly Quick Health, has been a nightmare for me. I signed up for dental insurance through ******** and somehow Quick Health got my policy as a broker for another company. A smooth talking agent signed me up for a year's policy in March 2024 at a cost of $1,302.93. On August 22, 2024 and again on August 30, 2024, WITHOUT my permission, Seguro debited my *********** account for $433.47 on BOTH dates (total of $866.94.) Since that time (today is October 18th), I have been trying, to no avail, to recoup the $866.94. I have made a number of calls, spoken to a number of agents, and have engaged in an online chat with Seguro (I have maintained a record of all communications.) The latest information I have (as of October 11th) was from two different customer service agents: Pinar (telephonically) and Dezera (online chat). Both said that the $866.94 will be returned to me but that a third party is in charge of releasing funds. Today, I used the chat mechanism to ask for an update as to the status of the aforementioned return of funds. As has happened in the past telephonically ("Hi, this is ******. Leave your number and I'll return your call," for which no return call was received), I have received no response despite the site indicating they are online and happy to respond. This is frustrating for a retired couple living in the inflation-riddled state of **********. I recommend that NO ONE do business with Seguro Medico Insurance Company.

      Horrible company. Dont waste your money like I did for two years. I travel 400 miles to **** for cancer treatments several times a year. They advertise reimbursements for transportation and lodging expenses for medical treatments. For two years I submitted multiple claims for exactly that, providing all the required documentation. For two years they denied ALL my claims! Total fraud. I dumped them like a bag of garbage.

      Our customer success team has tried calling the customer multiple times but has not been able to connect. Additionally, a letter has been mailed to the customer with policy information showing the claims they mention were not in fact covered. We will continue to try connecting via phone with this customer. Below are the notes from our representative.

      The transportation/lodging claims were processed correctly.  We received travel log and receipts for 05/07-11/09/2023 and 08/06-08/28/2024.  We received claims in this time frame, however, the claims were not eligible under the policy or any rider, therefore the transportation/lodging charges were not eligible. I tried to reach out three times by phone but was sent to voicemail.  I sent a letter explaining the transportation/lodging benefit. Will continue trying to contact.

      Medico Wellabe is not a good value, period.They make it difficult to look online at total amounts (Vision, Dental, Hearing) they pay out for your fiscal calendar year to see if you are even breaking even with premium cost versus what they pay. Shame on me for continuing to have this policy for Dental Vision Hearing

      All these complaints about Medico/Wellabe are because people do not understand the process and they apparently have horrible insurance advisors they are working with, including the lady who is an insurance agent below. She should know how to get the proper documents required which is a UB-04. The hospital will provide a UB-04 without issue. All you need to do is ask for an itemized bill or use the term UB-04 when you speak to them and you will receive. None of these issues are hard to resolve and to slam Medico/Wellabe for user error is kind of unfair. Please locate an agent to help you who actually knows what they are doing. I have been working with Medico for years and they are an amazing company to work with and they have been fantastic at helping me as a broker as well as my clients. I actually tell my clients the proper way to submit hospital indemnity and cancer/critical care claims the first time to avoid this nonsense these people are complaining about.       My name is *************************** policy number 00GWF0162562 There has been somebody by the name of ***************************** filed insurance under my bank account in my name this is fraud!!!.I am a older lady that sometimes does get sick and I would really appreciate someone getting on top of this immediately as I would like to retract this review in hopes that you are a good standing company. I repeat one more time this is fraud on my account I have no idea who this person is and I need all funds refunded to me right away ASAP please contact me I will come back on here every couple days to see if you have responded Feel free to leave a message if I do not answer and we can schedule a time while I will be waiting for your call. I am hoping that we can resolve this otherwise I am going to spend my retirement time writing about how this company does not care about older people and theyre allowing people to file insurance under someone elses name. Please contact me as soon as possible
