I did a lot of research on running boards and decided on deezee. I ordered the running boards and brackets through an authorized retailer and they were shipped from dee zee directly. I got the items 6/11. When I went to install the boards I quickly learned that they had not included the bolts that were needed. I formally reached out to Deezee on or around 6/17. I was surprised that no one apologized for the blatant error in the order but instead was told I needed to provide proof of purchase, a picture of the box(which I found strange) and the items missing. They then said they would ship them out in **** days which was almost 2x as long as it took to get the entire running boards. Sent them an email to the email address they provided. On 6/24 after receiving no follow up I called again. They stated they had not gotten my email. I read the email address I sent the email to and they confirmed that was correct. I asked them to send me an email to my email address which I very clearly confirmed they had correct. They agreed to send this. However this email never arrived. I finally called they retailer who contacted deezee and told me to send them the info. They confirmed receipt of the email with necessary docs on 6/25. On 7/5 I received an email from the retailer asking exactly which bolts were missing(which could not have been more clear in my email)It is now 7/6 and no word on the bolts.Here is the problem...I understand mistakes are made. Bolts sometimes don't get put in boxes I get it. HOWEVER why is it so difficult to send out a couple dollars worth of bolts AFTER I have purchased almost $700 worth of parts. Something that took a few days to ship is now taking me almost a month to get the stuff to install them on my truck. All of this could also be avoided if I was not made to feel like they didnt care that they messed up and that im just outta luck until they feel like fixing the issue. This is unacceptable!
