    I know is will not be read but I need to share my compliant but this business. It truly is a business because their number one concern is making money. You take your pet to an emergency vet because they need immediate care or treatment. My pet stepped on treble hook with his front paw and then was hooked in his back leg. It was Saturday night and had no other choice but to take him to an emergency vet. Please make sure you read understand all the estimate charges before signing anything!! WE LOVE OUR PET "griff' $980.54 the additional charges were more than the needed sedative, remove of the hooks (no surgical suture and bandages needed) antibiotic. no needed for two pain killers: one at $40.95 and the other was $33.95 totaling $72.55 the collar for $33.95 unnecessary!! the cost of blood work up $308.27. They will tell the emergency visit $150.00 but it is not it is $159.50. I call my veterinarian to share my concerns have about the treat my pet received from Iowa Veterinary Specialties they recommend ---BLUE PEARL on Merle Hay Road. I am put it my phone now so if or when the need arise I am prepared.
