Had tires put on my motorcycle and afterwards had a very violent shake, took the bike back 2 or 3 times stating the issue and telling them it was a balance issue. They proceeded to install new bearings, over tighten the neck bearings and try multiple tires via what I was told and the shake never was resolved. I since about 13 months later took it to another shop that was recommended to me to fix the issue. The shop checked parts even the parts they said where bad and it all checked out so they proceeded to replace the used tire mean machine put on that they charged me for a new one may of 22, once the new tire was installed and balanced the issue went away. Mean machine kept throwing parts at it and still told me my neck bearings where bad and that would fix it when the bike only had **** miles on it and ****** doesn't even recommend checking them until 20k. So because of mean machine I'm out another $350 to replace the used tire they put on after taking off the original tire I paid for. They have a 60 day parts and warranty policy and this happened the day I left their shop and they couldn't fix it the 3 times they tried so I was done trusting them with my safety and waiting to find a good shop I could trust. I do not want a full refund as the rear tire is fine, I'm looking for $350 that is the price to replace the front tire again.

In May, we installed a new set of tires on the customers bike. Roughly 1 month later the customer stated that he felt a slight wobble at lower speeds, so he brought it back to us. We re-balanced the wheel, put it back on and test rode the bike with no issues. 3 months later of that same year, the customer rode up to the shop, stating he felt a shake in the front again. We test rode the bike and were unable duplicate the issue, but we stopped the jobs we were currently working on to investigate further. We put a completely different wheel/tire on the bike and test rode with no issues. We removed the dunlop tire from that rim and installed it on the customers rim, replaced his wheel bearings and re-torqued the neck bolts. (All common fixes of this type of issue) All 3 techs test rode the bike and felt no wobble of any sort. The customer rode the bike and claimed he still felt the wobble. Since it was past closing time, we advised the customer to leave the bike with us, but he refused and left with the Dunlop tire on the wheel. We agreed that he would come back for us to put his original tire back on and check further into the issue as we suspected neck bearings needed replaced. We did not charge the customer for the 4 hours of time we spent working on his bike nor did we charge him for the wheel bearings we installed. Now, 13 months after the original tire was installed by us, it appears that the customer took his bike to another shop and had them replace the tire, requesting we reimburse him for the other shops services. We did not agree to this prior to him taking it there, nor do we agree to it now.

It is very unlikely that a person would ride around on a bike for over a year if they felt it was unsafe, however, we still have the original tire that was installed and the customer is still welcome to pick up that tire at anytime and keep or dispose of the dunlop we had previously installed.
