We had a new roof installed 2016 above our sunk in living room, last year ************************************************************************************* my ceiling over a foot long causing spackling and water to fall on to my furniture and floor . I called young construction..it took many phone calls and after two weeks they did some kind of a patch job. Everything seemed fine until now a year later, 2023 I'm leaking in the same spot again. I have called them and now I'm going on 3 weeks and still waiting for someone to fix this. I have been constantly lied to and not called back. No one came out to look at it for two weeks. We have had rain, I have had more damage since then. I called again, no one tells me any knew information or if anyone is even coming. I need my ceiling fixed before it caves in . Who knows what mold or damage I have up there now from the last patch job. These people do not call back and they act like they know nothing when you call them. They still owe me one gutter guard they didn't come back and hang up, still waiting on that as well . I have taken all pictures of recent water damage and have provided these to young Construction and they still have not moved on this!Business Response

We have done an area where the roof could of been leaking but we found no signs of leaking in that area.
We just talked to the homeowner yesterday 4/19 and said we will be out on 4/20/23 which we will be out today to inspect again during a rainstorm. We find no areas of the roof that has issues but are going to reshingle when weather permits this spring.

Signed a contract for a new roof and siding 2/2022. They did my roof and then my siding. Roof looked good after it was done until they did siding. They screwed somthing into my new roof to not use scaffolding then beat it out with hammer dumbed tar on holes to seal. Sided the house leaving exposed wood on bottom on the east side. Exposed wood not covered by siding going all the way up by the chimney area east side. Drip edge was all bent out and wavy. All corners were complete Destroyed and not closed. Peeks not met and overlapped correctly. Theres sections where the drip edge is bent down causing a gap other sections where its bent up. Inside corner pieces should have been back to back j Chanel so they could stop on each side where the siding stops as to not cause a length issue on the shorter wall side. They did come back remove and replace the shingles with tar dumped o them and take care of multiple issues of the full page provided to them the first time but there fixing the drip edge gapping made it worse not better and just added a ton of nails. End pieces were shortened to match the longest side of the two walls finally but still looks bad. Ive had more than 32 emails with multiple photos of issues (I have 77 photos) with the company repeatedly asking to fix this and make it look professional and be done correctly. Go days and sometimes a week or more with no response to my question or emails. Told me 5 different times everything was fixed but it isnt. Causing me to spend an unnecessary 16 hrs driving back n forth 120 miles there 120 back so roughly 960 miles in 4 trips. 2 full missed days of work for this so far. Its been 10 months of on going since contract was signed till today and still not completed. Have spoken to 5 or 6 people at the company with no successful completion including owner who said hed go look at it himself n get back to me oct 28th but never did. Issues with bird box not told of issue contract require so it was ignored not fixed.Business Response

We had siding and gutters installed by Young Construction. Gutters are fine with no issues. Both job crews were very nice and professional but siding folks seemed in a hurry to complete. We made a list of items to be corrected, such as dented fascia, shakers not fully attached and crooked, gap between siding and windows, bowed/wavy siding, top track to sliding glass door were thrown out and couldn't reinstall screen door, found outdoor wiring ground and neutral twisted together and blown fuses. Initially, they did come out and repair/replace items. They even called an electrician to verify no other electrical issues. Having felt they completed the list, we were satisfied. However, after leaving, and inspecting the house closer from different angles, we noticed multiple other issues such as corner siding cap dented, garage trim dents from a hammer (caulk was used to hide it), a finger wide gap between siding and door threshold allowing rain to drain behind siding. We have called multiple times and left messages and have spoken directly to owner, salesman and receptionist(?) addressing these issues. They have come out and taken photos of issues, acknowledged they will be corrected, and yet, nothing. We are repeatedly told someone will come and repair or replace items. Months have gone by and we have yet to see anyone. No updates other than told they'd like to have the original crew who did installation correct it. And they are busy working out of town. So, no real answer. Just a card thanking us for our business. I've tried to be patient, understanding and professional about the situation. I wish Young Construction would honor their satisfaction guarantee, their word and make this right. We signed a contract and honored our obligation paying you in full. We've not asked for a discount/credit. Not looking to get work done and finding reasons to get out of paying... Just do the job you were paid for and honor your part of our contract. In April ********************************************* suffered roof/shingle damage from an EF1 tornado. The *** elected Young Construction to do the repairs.In May 2022 repairs began and while removing the shingles on my unit, the Leaf Filter gutter guards on my rain gutters were lifted up, bent, and unseated from the gutters. A couple were completely removed and thrown on the ground with other debris. I went out and picked those guards up off the ground thinking they would be thrown away. It was a Saturday and my attempts to reach a job ******* or the office went unanswered. I sent a message through Youngs website asking someone to call me. On Monday morning I received a call from ***********************. After explaining that my gutter guards were damaged by the roofers, he said they would repair or replace them after settlement of the insurance claim.I contacted **** every few weeks and he always told me the same thing. They would repaired or replaced. On Aug. 26th I had a final conversation with ****. I told him once again that I wanted the gutter guards restored to the condition they were in before his roofers damaged them. They had been perfectly seated, even, and flush with the gutters. They were professionally installed to the point you couldnt tell there were guards on the gutters. He said he would be at my house on Tuesday, Aug. 30th, and I had the impression that he would fix them. Not the case. He spent no more than 20 minutes at my house. When I arrived home the only thing that had changed was a few inches of screen mesh, that had been partially pulled out of one of the gutters by the roofers, was gone. I texted **** asking him for his thoughts on the repairs. He never answered me.After months of **** assuring me the gutters would be fixed, I now realize that Young Construction has no intention of doing anything. **** has repeatedly lied to me. I need someone to intervene as it is not unreasonable to want the company who damaged my property to make it right.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:Young Construction said they would replace the gutter guards, but had no one to do the job and it would be a couple of weeks. That was on 9/6. Thats where it ended. They have done nothing.
