  We had a wind storm that caused damage to our roof, gutters, siding, annd other exterior damages in August of 2020. We hired Nguyen Enterprise to fix this. We had multiple issues from siding not being installed correctly to gutters leaking to soffit falling down. And more. After a few months we had a leak in our roof that caused nearly $2000 on damages due to a whole left by their roofing team. They sealed the leak with caulk however they didn't fix the faulty pipe boot. This is a temporary fix. They will not help resolve this issue. They will not return calls or work with me to do a proper fix of this issue. They also are not willing to cover the costs to fix this.

  we have been out to the homeowners house every time he had a issue and addressed the issues and repairs. Defective siding was replaced at no cost to Homeonwer. As for the roof we covered all labor and materials needed for sealing/repair of the pipe flashing so no current leaks are happening since repair was done.(Flashings/Rubber boots expand and contract and are not covered under any warranty in the roofing industry) As for interior work our company policy only covers from the plywood sheeting up for roofing shingles, no interior work. But we offered to pay a painting company $300.00 to touch up the small water stain on the ceiling to help out, but this is something we normally don't offer.

  $300 is not even enough to cover the estimate provided by your paint company.  The total estimate was $2,025, by your painter, based on his expertise that you cannot match 15 year old paint in an open concept home.  *******************, your employee and my contact, has said you would cover up to $500, which leaves us to cover over $1,500.   So I am a little confused there.  And before we get into using subjectively saying small, there is over a 144 sq inch area in my kitchen ceiling that has a water **** that is clearly visible in the submitted pictures.
  

   

  For the leak in the roof, they put gobs of caulk around to seal it up vs actually fixing the problem.  Not a long term fix.  It was a cheaper option to just apply caulk than actually fix the problem.  (image: pipe sealed by sloppy caulking.jpg) 

   

  Getting them to return my call or work with me has been a horrendous experience.  It took over 8 months to get all of this completed.  Numerous calls, texts, and voice mails.  Most un-returned. 

   

  Here is a list of the below standard things done to my home by this company.  Some of it was partly fixed 

  • It wasnt defective siding like stated, it just wasnt hung properly

  • The gutters are not installed properly and leaked, which they did fix with caulk, again a temporary solution.  You will see the water frozen on the cement from this.

  • The soffit was hung loose and nails fell out, and the pieces fell down.  This means they didnt hammer the nails into wood.

  • They did not pick up nails or screws or clean up after they left, which is a danger to my children playing in the yard.  We had more than a five gallon bucket of nails

  • There was an oil stain on the driveway left by one of their vehicles and in another spot left by their dumpster.   
  • No image for this but Chaise came to work on it and can verify. 
  • They didnt install the exterior pipe cover correctly and caused condensation build up in my basement, causing water spots on the ceiling tile.  Which I hired a plumbing company, and paid for myself, to come fix their issue

  • I also have added random pictures of the work they did.  Poor cuts, faulty and bent siding, not sealing properly, nails under the siding, which is not properly done, garbage not picked up in over a week, scaffolding left on my house for over two weeks.  They didnt order enough siding and my house was half new siding, half old siding (yes, two different colors), for over a month.  All of these add up to make me believe they did not correctly fix this issue at hand of the leaky roof.  They are not credible in their work.

  as stated we don't cover any interior work, we offered in good faith to pay the painter directly  $300.00 no cost to you that was his estimate we got to fix/touch up the affected spot. We did offer $500.00 if YOU decided to do more then the affected area since its an open concept to help, but to call and yell and be un professional is something the company won't stand for. As for the roofing and siding work we stand behind that it was installed in a workmanship manner and has no issues now that the repairs have been done.
