I as surprised to see all the negative reviews. I had Wiremen install an in-home generator and they discovered they needed a different breaker as my breaker box was an outdated one, They searched for weeks to find the right one and got me up and running. I was very satisfied with the electrician that did the work. He came on time, was knowledgable, friendly and explained things to me. I would recommend Wireone to anyone that asked me. ******************WireOne

We had a light wired wrong and blew a fuse. Electrician came and replaced the fuse but didnt correct the light (was wired using a switch loop). He then said it was bad breaker box and a fire hazard and tried to get us to sign a $13,000 job with the fear of a fire. Had 3 other electricians come from different companies for a second, third, and fourth opinion and they all disagreed with Wire One opinion.WireOne

I had Wire One come out on two occasions to provide quotes for two separate jobs. On both occasions the employees were kind and courteous. Once we were done going over what the jobs were they spent 30 minutes on their iPad working up the quote. Mind you they charge for quotes unlike any other contractor Ive used. They provide three quotes and waste your time explaining the first two which are always way over what you asked them to do. Of course these first two options are extremely expensive. After they finally get to quoting you what you asked them to do in the first place they always do a hard ask for the sale which is fine. The problem is their bids are always twice if not three times as expensive as their local competitors. When you ask them why they are so expensive they say the same lines every time their employees are professional, licensed, insured, and uniformed electricians they insinuate that no other electricians in the area are licensed, insured, and professional. The cheapest quote I received from them was over double what two other local electricians quoted. Oh, and the other guys quotes were free. I would stay away from this company!WireOne

It is true that we often see a discrepency in our rates and others in our community. But, we have not found that to be true of companies that compare to us in licensing, professionalism, and having Technicans who are drug tested. I am sure you will find the price point you are looking for and I do hope you receive safe expertise. Thank you for sharing your experience.Review fromDianne C

I have requested paper receipts several times, I still have not received paper recipes. Billing is deceptive. They do not have set prices for anything and they charge to come out (service call) to tell you how much they charge. I got an email copy I cannot read or file in my records. Electrician said "all work guaranteed, no charge to correct" at time of installation. They do not tell you there is a charge just for them to come out until they come out.. They waived fee for 1st visit (this time). I had two smoke detectors installed (batteries were in the smoke detectors installed in factory). I asked the electrification to test the battery's, he said they had a 10 yr warranty (I assumed he either could not test them or he did). two wks later the alarm sounded, he wanted a $69 service call to change the batteries. I was told on the phone service call would be $39 and that is what I paid. This business has a local area code but they are not owned by a local company, their home office is out of the state and they are a national company.WireOne

We work hard to provide a fair and honest price to keep this community safe. The other prices you found do not take many aspects of our profession into account. It is possible to hire "***** in a truck" but he will not be licensed, and your home will be at risk. Please choose carefully and know we are here if you need us. We are a locally owned franchisee.Review fromHeather S

I called 2 days ago to schedule an electrician to come do something simple such as tighten up the outlets on the walls. Plugs don’t fit securely. I was at first impressed that they could come 2 days later. I seemed a bit skeptical because I could get in so quickly. Most times, specialists are booked up a few weeks. We were told the tech would be here from 1-4 today. We skipped our plans to be home all day. I called the office at 1:15 to see if she knew when he would be here. Her answer was, “he’s just finishing up a job before yours. Then he is heading there. He will text you 30 minutes ahead of time.” Then I wondered how does she know he’s almost done? She didn’t call him. Was this just an excuse to get me off her back? Still nobody was her at 2:45. The service rep then texted me, “ Hi! Hannah here with Wireone. Unfortunately, the technician that was scheduled to come today is on an emergency call that is taking much longer than expected. I do apologize. Would you be available tomorrow?” I was very put off with this. Like there’s no other techs working for you? My job isn’t important? Emergency! Why does everyone always have an “emergency”? If it was that bad of a situation at this other location, why did she tell me he was finishing up? Possibly it was an easy way to say he wanted to go home early? If a customer is inconvenienced, then I say they should get a discount. I decided to read evaluations from past customers and I am shocked that many had similar occurrences. I do not want a simple job to turn into one that costs thousands of dollars because they find this or that wrong. I also should’ve seen it coming when I was told the service fee was only $39. Is this a “you get what you pay for scenario”? Also, the answering service said, “you will talk to the friendliest service Edson ever.” Something like that. The girl that answered the call seemed much less than enthused to be there. If you want a friendly phone rep, then hire one.WireOne

I am, honestly, baffled by all of these negative reviews. My experience with the folks at WireOne was fantastic. The electricians were competent and professional, and did a great job. The price was 1/3 of what the "competition" had given us for an estimate. I could not be more pleased with the quality of service that I received from WireOne.WireOne

total scam. I had called wireone for another estimate on updating my current breaker panel.the lady on the phone that set up the appointment said that there would be a service fee of $70 upon accepting the repair estimate. the day of the appointment, the tech was 2 hours late. the estimate the tech came back with is $15,600. which is outrageous! then proceeded to tell me he need the $70 for the estimate. the company I had do the prior estimate was only $3400 for the exact same work. i do not recommend them even in the more critical situations.WireOne
