We purchased an *** device and child sized pads from ***Land on June 6, 2024. The child-sized pads shipped immediately with a tracking number, and we received that item. The *** device itself never shipped. I attempted to contact customer service both via email and via text which is what the website suggests. I never got a response back. I eventually was able to track down a name attached to this company, and I emailed him directly twice with the only response being "I'll check it out for you". Eventually he got back to us with an alternative order idea due to a manufacturing issue, but never followed up on how we could make that adjustment. I finally got a reply via text that indicated the item would ship that week, but it's now been two weeks past that date with no shipment. We have started a credit card dispute, but we would really just prefer a refund.Business response

As we stated the item is still not available therefore we are unable to ship it. you have already disputed the charge, and the funds have been withdrawn to your card so there is no refund to issue. I'm sorry but we have no control over manufacturer supply chains.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However, the information contained within this response is misleading. The issue was not solely manufacturing delay, but a lack of timely and adequate communication by the business. In fact, the last message we got from the business was not regarding a manufacturing delay, but instead was a statement saying the item was scheduled to ship to us that week. We never received that item. We also received our money from the credit card company itself, not from the company.

I'm sorry for your issues, the email we have for the order is not the one listed here today, I'm not sure what you are trying to log into as we do not store customer information and do not have a login on our site. My order from AEDLand.com was placed on July 23, 2024 and a confirmation email was received. On July 24 a second email was sent stating the order had been complete. I have had zero contact or response from the company since then and my item has never arrived. I have been locked out of my account and can not log in to check the status of my order. I have sent several requests to reset my password and attempt to regain access to the site, yet I do not get a password reset link. I have tried the text feature they offer to contact them and that has not worked. I would like to know the status of the order and if it can not be fulfilled I would appreciate a refund.Business response

This order has already been delivered via UPS 1ZA822R00355189215 and signed for by a person Named ******. I'm not sure what you're trying to log into as our website does not offer the ability sign in or create an account all shoppers check out as guests. We do this so there is no customers information stored for security reasons. Please reach out us Via text as the website states and we generally reply within that business day.Customer response

I would simply like to communicate my response in hopes that it alleviates any problems for customers including myself in the future.
The order was delivered yesterday after the initial complaint was filed to BBB. There is in fact an icon at the top right of the businesses website that looks like a lock which brings the customer to a "My Account" login page. This is where the failed log in attempts come from. In addition, this situation could have been completely avoided if there were some better communication from the business on when the item was shipped and a tracking number provided. I apologize for the inconvenience and the misunderstanding on my part.

I placed 3 orders for replacement AED batteries and pads through the AEDland website and none of the orders ever arrived. I received emails stating the orders are complete but clearly that is not the case. Order #****** on July 9th for a battery, order #****** on July 12th for 4 batteries and order #****** on July 12th for 2 pads. When I go to the website looking for help, there is only a number to text. I texted it and got no response. The emails don't have confirmation information listed either. I really didn't think a company would scam people needing life saving medical equipment but here we are. Shame on me for making multiple orders. Disappointing that we're out more than $1000 and still don't have the equipment we need to run our AED's. Sad day.Business response

On 11/28/23, I placed an order for 2 Powerheart AED G3 9146-302 re-celled batteries from AEDLand.com for $336. After multiple failed attempts to speak to the seller to ask for shipping info, I found that the contact number provided ************ is just a voicemail inbox and that they did not provide an active email contact. Their website states that *******************, EMT and Owner of AEDLand.com, however, when I checked his LinkedIn profile it didn't appear to be an actual account; no profile pic and no contact info, nor does it appear to be active. I began to suspect that I was scammed so I came to BBB to check reviews and realized many others have had the same experience. I'm filing this complaint in hopes this company will either provide a full refund or deliver the products I paid for.Business response

On April 4, 2023 I ordered three (3) Philips Heartstart Home Defibrillators (M5068A) from AEDLand. The total cost was $4,197.00 and this amount was immediately charged to my **** credit card. Also on April 4, 2023, I received a "Thank you for your order" message from *******, indicating that my order number is ****** and "it is now being processed". I never received anything else from this company, no goods, no explanation, nothing. I tried calling several times, but no one answers and the voice mailbox is full, so I can't even leave a message.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:At this stage after waiting for so long without a single contact (except for the original automated email on April 4, *************************** process) I would be a fool to agree to shipping. I don't believe it will actually happen. I just want my money back. And for the record, I did follow the contact steps as instructed. Like so many others, I got no answer from anyone, just a voicemail message box that was full. I included this in my original complaint. Just give me my money back.
