BEWARE!! We were given a verbal quote, they did 3/4 of the job then told us the quote was wrong and changed price so the job was $300.00 more than the original quote. If we didnt want to pay the extra, they threatened to come back and tear off the gutters

For what it's worth, I adamantly refute the review
    left by **************** on BBB.

I've been in business since 2001 because of referrals
and repeat satisfied customers.  I spend nothing on marketing
or advertising because my work speaks for itself.

I've done work for ************************* over the years without issue, even
though other contractors refuse to work for him.

This particular job was on one of his rundown rental properties.
I bid the replacement gutters based on the existing gutters
physically hanging on the house at the time of the bid request.

****** was present during most of the installation of the gutters.  When I was
finishing up, he pointed to an empty area and said don't forget about that
area, it needs gutters.  It of course was a long run of space (50 feet) that
was not part of the bid, since there were no gutters present at the time of bid.

I explained the cost, he tentatively agreed and I completed the long run of new
gutters in the area where no gutters previously existed.

After the job was completed, ****** left to have his wife write a check to pay for the completed job.  He came back stating that his wife refused to pay the extra $300, since it was not part of the bid.  I once again explained why it was not part of the original bid.  Again, it was a run of approximately 50 feet. I will admit that I did state that if I wasn't going to get paid for the material and labor, I should come back and tear it off.

It is simple math to figure the cost of gutters, downspouts, elbows, corners, end caps, outlets and hinges based on the footage and pieces needed.  A person with the ability to read a tape measure and count can bid a job.  In this case, I had absolutely no idea a gutter had ever been there, nor did ****** state he wanted
a gutter there, until I was about done with the job.

In 23 years of business, I have never had this scenario happen.  As stated earlier, I take great pride in my work and reputation.

I never did go back, so ****** and his wife got $300 worth of FREE gutters PLUS wrote a one star review making my business look bad. I'm actually an idiot that should have listened to the other contractors, and probably should go put a contractors lien on the property!

    Respectfully submitted,
