They are going to make me miss my court date because I because I knew I needed it before however I have breathing problems that cause me not to give a sample ( that is required) and nobody will help I asked to speak to a supervisor and they refuse and the service center has also done the same. On 4-Sep-2024 I should have been able to remove my interlock device, however, due to misinterpretation of Washington State requirements for removal. Intoxalock assumed there is 180 day compliance requirement, This is incorrect for a *** which occurred prior to July 23, 2017. The *** occurred January 2015, therefore, the correct eligibility date for removal should be based on four month compliance, NOT 180 days.Furthermore, Intoxalock, does not give ****** for learning how to use the device. The device is installed, with no training, and if you lock it out on the way home... then they extend your period required for compliance.I have been on the phone for over three hours in the last week, and been assured it will be worked out. This compliant due to the fact they have not addressed nor corrected their error for length of compliance.The current total for the shop, is at $62.40, the rest is documented in the Intoxalock accounting system for charges paid after 4-Sep-2024.Business response

I completed the 366 day requirement of my Intoxalock program. I have been discharged and released from probation and the court system. I had my final calibration done and called Intoxalock to get clearance to have it removed. I was informed that I had a violation and would have to have the device another 120 days. When I asked what the violation was for, I was advised I blew a ***** on March 20th. I have not had a drop of alcohol since last November so I knew that was impossible. I also had a drug and alcohol test at work the next day and it was clear. I asked to speak to someone to appeal the violation and was told to call back in 35 minutes when that department opened. After 2 hours on hold someone finally answered. She told me the violation was for a missed calibration. This supposedly happened while we were on vacation. Prior to leaving for vacation, I called Intoxalock, my probation officer as well as TNPAP (State of TN monitoring program for those who hold a medical license and have been in trouble for substance abuse) to see what, if anything I needed to do since I would be gone. I was informed by Intoxalock that I would miss a calibration and there would be a late fee but that I could get that done as soon as I returned from my trip. At no point was I informed that I would get a violation for not having it calibrated on time or that I could have it calibrated early. I was specifically told to do it when I got back and there would be no problem. Now that it's time to get it removed, I'm being told I have to wait another 120 days. I was told to contact my probation office and when I did they said they have nothing to do with getting it removed. I do not know what to do at this point because I keep getting the run around from Intoxalock. I feel like this is a way for them to get more money and to exploit the situation, especially since I was given multiple excuses for the supposed violation.Business response

After speaking with Mr. ******** Intoxalock has credited his account for two month's lease charges for any incorrect information he was given. Unfortunately, *********'s state guidelines are that if there is a missed recalibration it may extend the customer's requirement in full. Mr. ******* was given contact information for the state on who we report to so he may reach out to them regarding the situation.

My device was malfunctioning where it wouldnt accept my breaths, it ended up asking me for a random one as i was driving, and it wouldnt accept it. That caused me to go into lock out mode. I ended up not being able to turn my car on at that point and had to have my vehicle towed. It turns out my device was malfunctioning and had to be replaced. I got reimbursed for my lockout fee. However my receipt from the shop for their fee which is $60.00, they wont accept it because its not stamped paid I went to the shop and they said they dont have a stamp, theyre old school and they ended up writing paid on it and still they wont accept it. Now i have to go back a third time to get paid cash written on it. Its an inconvenience to be going back and forth and time consuming and then to spend more time calling to see what else i can do and on top of that all the gas since its in another town. This is ridiculous doing all that. Oh and admin team cant be reached because they don't answer phone calls according to ******* *. From customer support. Unbelievable lack of customer service. Attached is the invoice from the shop i had to take it too, this is not a receipt from Intoxalock.Business response

The management team at Intoxalock has made contact with Mr. ***** to address his issues and concerns. We acknowledge that he may have had a negative experience with our company and sincerely apologize for any frustration he may have experienced.
Following our conversation with Mr. ****** Intoxalock has issued a $60 refund as an account credit. Additionally, we have provided an extra $60 credit to account for the inconvenience. Both Mr. ***** and Intoxalock consider this matter resolved.

This company allowed ***** ****** to deliberately mislead me on 29 April 2024 about what was included with my contract. For the record, I was compelled to enter into this contract and did not do so of my own free will. ***** ****** eventually went completely silent despite promising reimbursement for extraneous charges. His misleading statements cost me money on 6 August 2024. This companys representative I spoke with over the phone on 6 August 2024 even stated that ***** ****** was not authorized to make the statements that he did, but they charged me anyway. ***** ****** pocketed money at my expense through his duplicity and should be immediately terminated, possibly investigated for criminal misconduct for his outright fabrications in order to line his own pockets. Even worse, on 4 September 2024, this company allowed a Hindu pederast to yell at me and use abusive and threatening language over the phone. I cannot wait to be done with this company so that I can finally end my life and be free of this labyrinth of suffering.Business response

I am so embarrassed that I didnt look at these reviews prior to getting this *** device installed. This has been a nightmare! I get this device installed August 24th .From that day forward my car wouldnt start. I had to get a jump every time I got in my car. I went to auto shops to get my battery alternator and starter checked all good! Lets back Track I called them everyday since the device was installed trying to figure out why my car wasnt starting. They were very rude and said its my battery . After 3 days of calling them they finally set me up for a service to get it looked it. I go to the shop August 31st the guy doesnt even look at my car he automatically says its my battery. I know dang well I had any battery issues before getting this device. So I get device taken out that day and they claim I had to pay which is crazy I paid August 24th100$ to get it installed I had the *** a week. Then they tell me a payment is coming out in a few days??? For what??? I had this in my car a week and everyday I couldnt start my car. This place is a big scam they are taking people money.Make it make sense. This place needs to be shut down and I want my money back I paid for the installation. You guys knows theres something wrong with these devices. Expert electronics is the place they had install this device for me to only have it in a week.Business response

July 2024, did the install of the **** was told that I would be paying 55$ bi-weekly. Instantly I was charged 165$ for the month with misc charges. Have made many attempts to have the device remover, to no avail. I never signed a lease, now my car is locked and unable to move off the street, I have 72 hours to have it moved or they ticket and tow it. Intoxalock has lied about the monthly fee and is refusing to remove the device until I pay 353$. I recorded the conversation with the agent, who is extremely rude and stating that I have to have role lease signed and paid up to date before they will schedule a removal.Business response

It is not Intoxalocks intent to deceive or mislead any customers, particularly when it comes to the costs they incur while leasing the interlock equipment. Still, we know that mistakes or miscommunication may occur and if it does, we are committed to reaching an amicable resolution to any issue with the customer.
That said, we are hopeful that you will return our attempts made via phone & email, to speak with the Manager assigned to remedying the matter. We would encourage her to call a Manager directly at ************ or via email at *********************************************************************.

These phone calls and emails happened the last 3 weeks in August 2024. To get my license reinstated again I have to have one of these devices. I got a dui 6 years ago and thought ***** all this took care of until I got pulled over in July found out my license were suspended due to the company I used before not reporting to the state. So anyway I decide to go with this company. Now they call you right back as soon as you put your info in. But in 3 weeks time I talked to a man named ******* and ****** and a lady named *****************. ******* was nice and helped some. ****** was nice also. But you could not get ahold of them once everything was set. So I finally got stuck with a lady named ****. She was nice and helped with what she could. Now within the last 6 years I have had 2 babies and became a single mom with zero help and told them this up front. They said I could apply for state help and sent every thing with zero help filling it out and what to do. The judge filled it out wrong and so did I I'm stuck waiting til Sept 3 to fix it. I was under the impression it would help pay for install but everything was wrong and the lady done made the appointment and I told her I could not afford the 225 up front she was not happy about it and went on to tell me if I could get the money I could get a $200 rebate and they could either send a check or put it on my account. The only way I was able to borrow the money was the promise of the rebate check so I could pay the money back to said friend. Well I just found out this past Thursday they didn't offer no such thing and the guy I spoke with was very rude and inconsiderate. I just want the $200 rebate check so I can pay my friend back. I'm not sure why she told me this unless it was just to get money. I have emailed her and she hasn't responded. I was told this over the phone but I do have emails of trying to contact her.Business response

The intoxalock device was installed incorrectly and resulted in multiple months of consistent problems starting the vehicle.I was required to pay to switch the faulty device to another vehicle where it works fine on now.The car the device was uninstalled on also works fine now too. Therefore, a faulty installation resulted in myself incurring multiple extra charges. I would like a refund for the uninstall and reinstall and other fees associated with having to reinstall the device to get it working properly.Additionally, the device recorded a fault when no fault had occurred and no proof was ever sent to myself and I was told I would have to go to court to get the fees reversed. There is no way to dispute this legally. This is fraud to charge when violations do not occur.Business response

I am required to have an ignition interlock monitor on my car to measure Bac levels. On July 8 2024. I was able to blow into the monitor to start my car. I driving to the ** due to immense pain in what I thought it was my shoulder. When the monitor went off for a retest. I tried to blow but couldn't get the blow pattern right. I parked turned off the car to concentrate. Because I made the mistake I made by the mistake of turning off the car the monitor went into a lock out which means the car cannot be started. I had to call an ambulance to get me to the **. After I got out of the hospital 8 days I had to get my car towed to the dealership and have the monitor reset. For this lockout Intoxalock charged me $70.00. I have this account set up on automatic payment so they debited my checking account. I called them to explain and request to waive the fee but they refused.Business response
