      This is a formal complaint against VERIDIAN CU located in ********, **. This company has repeatedly violated my consumer rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and has caused me much unnecessary financial AND mental distress. For starters, they're reporting an erroneous & unverifiable account on my credit report and not to mention an account in which I've asked for proof of claim and in which they have not been able to provide, per the ***** Despite my efforts to resolve this unfortunate nightmare for several months now, VERIDIAN CU has completely ignored my communications and legal submissions to remove this inaccurate information from my credit report. I am well aware of the many, many other complaints filed against this company for their illegal and unethical business. Yet, somehow, this company is still in business. This company's unprofessional & negligent behavior has caused lots of serious harm, not only to my ability to establish credit & good interest rates, but also to my character as a Professional and as an individual. Please help me, and the many other consumers just like me, to put a stop to the operation of these unethical & immoral business practices immediately. I sincerely appreciate your time and assistance in this matter and hope to hear from you very soon. As previously stated, this credit reporting agency is reporting erroneous, derogatory information about me to which is killing my *************************** Professional image. They've refused to send any proof of their claim because they have none since this account has never even existed. Therefore, my only wish is to have them permanently remove the inaccuracies that Ive disputed from my credit file immediately.

      We received your complaint claiming the loan you held with Veridian is inaccurately reporting to the credit bureaus and you claim the account never existed.

      We have reviewed the credit reporting of the loan you held with Veridian with Equifax, Experian and TransUnion and all three bureaus are reporting this loan accurately.

      On 08-03-2022, we mailed you a letter with more specific details including signed loan and other legal documents. We deny your allegation that this loan never existed and have recorded calls with you discussing this loan as recently as May 2022.

      To Whom it may concern,This letter is to inform you that I recently received a copy of my credit report that your company publishes and after reviewing it I found a number of items on the report that are inaccurate. The accounts in question are listed below. Please send me copies of the documents that you have in your files as of this date that you used to verify the accuracy of the accounts listed below. VERIDIAN CREDIT UNION ACCT #:********** BAL.$0.00 Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. ****g I have the right to demand that you disclose to me all of the documents that you have recorded and retained in your file at the time of this request concerning the accounts that you are reporting in my credit report. Please dont respond to my request by saying that these accounts have been verified. Send me copies of the documents that you have in your files that were used to verify them. If you do not have any documentation in your files to verify the accuracy of these disputed accounts then please delete them immediately as required under Section 611(a)(5)(A)(i). By publishing these inaccurate and unverified items on my credit report and distributing them to 3rd parties you are damaging my reputation and credit worthiness.

      My account number with ********************** is #**********. I have been trying to get them to send me monthly statements for 5 months. I have a car loan with them and savings account. I have no idea how much I owe on my car or how much I have in my savings account. I don't do online banking. I have called them every month and every month they have assured me the statements are in the mail. I have begged them to send me monthly statements. If this can't be resolved I will have to contact the **** Attorney General Consumer Protection.

      We are sorry to hear of the trouble you are having receiving your monthly statement. We have thoroughly reviewed your concerns and have determined the reason you have not been receiving statements in the mail is because your accounts were enrolled in electronic statements. Based on this letter and listening to recorded calls, it is our understanding that you would prefer to have monthly statements mailed to you.

      On 06-07-2022, A Team Leader followed up with you to ensure all your concerns were heard. She helped you update your statement delivery preference to ensure they will be mailed to your home address going forward. In addition, we are mailing a more detailed response to you, including your last two monthly statements, so you have them for your records. You will start receiving mailed monthly statements in July 2022.

      I can not register my car with California *** because Veridian Credit Union did not send the car title to the California ***. I have to pay the late fee of the amount $266 with the *** and seeking reimbursement from Veridian Credit Union. I have been communicate with *************************, ************************************ was not truthful about her promise. she told me that I and the *** should get the car title within week, but it is over a month and I am getting nothing.

      Thank you for providing feedback about your recent experience with titling your car in **********. We are sorry to hear of the delay and the disappointment you have encountered.  We value your feedback and have completed a thorough review of the situation.

      Your loan application was initiated through a third party that specializes in auto loan refinancing. Veridian partners with this company to provide lending services for qualified individuals who wish to refinance their auto loans. Per Veridians contract, all title work is initiated and completed through that company.

      Veridian was first made aware of the issue on 04-13-2022 when you called us to inform us you were having trouble titling the vehicle. We followed up with the third party on 04-14-2022 to alert them of the issue. Our Third Party Loan Processor relayed information they provided us to you via email. We recognize the timelines quoted to us, and to you, were not met and we are sorry for the miscommunication and delay.

      While Veridian is not the entity who handles the title work in this refinance situation, we have been continuing to follow up with the third-party to ensure the process is taking place. We have also provided feedback to our internal stakeholders to ensure they are aware of the issues you have encountered.

      On 05-26-2022, the third party informed us they spoke to you by phone and have issued you reimbursement for the fees you were charged by the **** You should be receiving the reimbursement in the mail in the near future.Should you have any further questions or concerns, we would recommend you follow up directly with them.

      We are sorry to hear of the inconvenience this issue has caused you. We hope the refund of fees as well as the direct communication with the third party that is handling your title work helps to resolve your concerns. We will continue to follow up on this as well until it is fully resolved. Thank you for providing your feedback.
