I leased a vehicle from this company. I paid $543 a month for a 5 year lease. I have been paying every month since April, 2023. I have paid $4,887 total. I have the proper insurance. I have always communicated with them and if there was an issue with the payment I called quickly to resolve it. I was unaware of a toll bill being placed on the vehicle. The company never sent the information about the toll bill too me. I came out to my vehicle gone one day even though I was up to date on my payments. After I tried to discuss the issue with the company and explained I didn't receive the toll bills and that I could pay it that same day. They stopped making contact. The next time I heard back they said the loan was cancelled and I could not get the car out of being repossessed. The company has been shady about all of the issues I've had with them as well as rude and dismissive. I feel personally victimized as a woman, as well as when I mentioned having my domestic partner, also female, look into the bill the person on the phone laughed and was then cold and dismissive. As a company with this many unsatisfied customers who are reporting them, I wonder why the better buissness bureau has not dug deeper.Business response

Northwest Leasing (NWL) disagrees with this customer's representation of the facts. Before repossessing the vehicle, it contacted her at least three times about the unpaid toll bills, which were approximately $2,000. She did not respond to any of those requests to discuss the issue. Further, she states she did not know about the toll bills, yet, when she finally contacted NWL after it repossessed the vehicle, she told NWL that she had been discussing the toll bills with the *************************** of ************** (WSDOT) (or its servicer, she did not specify which). The customer should have not incurred thousands of dollars of toll fees and should have responded to NWL's attempts to discuss the matter. Instead, the customer ignored NWL and WSDOT's toll laws. NWL is not obligated to, and should not be expected to, continue in a business relationship with vehicle lessees who encumber its vehicles with or otherwise obligate NWL for thousands of dollars of civil fines and penalties.Initial Complaint

I am a single mom of two and I'm a working mom. I purchased a car from Dennis Dillon and got assistance through Northwest leasing on November 27th 2021. I had my auto payment set up to take out of my account and it didn't go through so I was called and I then linked my bank account to the auto pay with Rob.. they had waited to take the money out and then I saw the money go from my account. Upon checking my bank account later, I saw that there was extra money in my account so I called Northwest leasing to verify that the payment had gone through, they said yes it had and I said okay would you please call me and let me know if it doesn't go through because I'll take care of that and the lady said yes that they would. Well a few days later I guess the payment wasn't okay and I never got a phone call about it. On Thursday last week I had a missed call from Northwest leasing and I was sick with covid and I was down for 2 days straight, I couldn't get out of bed. And Friday when I had more energy so I could finally get out of bed, I went to primary health to go get my test done which took over an hour and then I was going to swing by the bank and get a little bit more money in my account and then call to make the payment. When I came out of the store, my car was gone and a few minutes later Rob called me and said to come pick up my dog or he's taking him to the pound because my dog was in the car. I told him I'll I don't have a car now so I can't come get my dog, please bring him back...my wallet, my purse everything was in the car. And he m came to me with my dog and he was very rude to me and he left me and my dog outside in the cold after I just had gotten positive covid results. had no ride home and they're refusing to give me my car and I've paid $5,000 on it and it's the first payment that didn't go through it was an error but they insist on keeping my car and not reimbursing me any money. It's hard to get even a person to talk to me I have no idea what's happeningBusiness response

Treasure Valley Leasing contacted the customer and worked out an arrangement where she remedied her first payment default. Treasure Valley Leasing believes it has resolved the issue to the customer's satisfaction.
