I ordered a "Salamander SOT Scutter Cart" (a sit-on-top kayak cart) on 6/15/22 from this business online, paying $97.94 using my debit card. After receiving and opening the box, I saw that I was missing one of the two rubber sheaths needed to support the kayak. I emailed the customer service address to ask for this, and was asked to send a photo of the pieces that I had received, which I did (that photo is attached). After a long wait, I wrote back to check in and was told by a staffer named **** that they were short staffed but he would take care of it the next day. Then I waited a long period another week? before calling and being told by someone other than **** that my package was not underweight when it was shipped and therefore I must apparently be lying (was the not so subtle implication). (My email exchange with the company and my receipt are attached.) Forget about what I would want with a random extra rubber sheath. This is not the way to treat a paying customer. I have since asked for a refund and a prepaid mailing label to return the parts that I have. Meanwhile I have taken my business elsewhere and purchased another kayak cart from another merchant.
