The Car Park recently billed me although my car has not been in their garage for at least 5 months. This is after I went to their downtown ****** earlier this year, and they agreed that I didn't owe them $600 I had been billed by email. They said they had a new system, or something, by way of explanation. Looks like new system is at it again. I'd be happy if they gave me a statement say I owe them nothing, and that they would not bill me again.

Hello *****. Apologies for the issues and the back and forth. Youre right that weve moved to a new system. After reviewing your account, we couldnt find a termination notice, and had two open invoices from the old system. As a result, your account appeared active which is why we continued to bill.

Weve gone ahead and terminated the account and voided the remaining invoices. That should bring this matter to full resolution. We will also email a statement to you that confirms the termination. If you experience any other issues, please contact us directly by phone at ************.

The Car Park owns a surface parking lot on the corner of *********. And *************************. In *********, **. The building I live in is adjacent to the parking lot. I pay a monthly fee of approximately $152/mo to park one of three vehicles on my account in the lot at any time. Despite my paid account every month, they continue to provide parking citations to my vehicles. I have disputed the citations over the phone several times to get them removed, and reached out to a local account manager multiple times to remedy this situation. Now I have received a final letter notification in the mail stating I have an unpaid citation that will result in vehicle impounding of a vehicle on my paid account. I find it entirely unacceptable that a company can take a monthly payment of $152/mo and then continue to demand I pay parking citations and threaten to remove my vehicle by ******.

I parked my vehicle for less than 30 minutes at The Car Park located at *************************************************************. This happened in March 2023. I put in $20.00 to the machine to pay for parking and it only gave me $9.75 in change. I feel entitled to and request the remainder that is owed to me of $11.25. I called The Car Park numerous times and they wanted me to email my information to them for a refund, but every time they gave me the same e-mail address and the e-mail address was invalid. In December 2023, I called them to let them know that the e-mail address that they gave me was invalid and they said that they would e-mail me for the correct e-mail address, but they never did send me an e-mail.

On July 7th, 2023, I parked my vehicle at The Car Parks privately owned lot at *********************************************************************** (Zone ID ***** . I paid using SecureParkingUSA via QR code posted in front of the lot. As of July 7th, 2023, I was issued a parking notice by their management company ********************************* in the mail stating that I paid after the grace ******* I disagree with this charge because there were no "posted rules" regarding a grace ****** upon entering The Car Parks lot. Neither signage around the lot nor verbiage through SecureParkingUSA or The Car Parks website gave warning of a grace ******* Wanting to confirm the validity of this exuberant debt of $82, I searched for this debt I supposedly owe through The Car Parks Violations and Disputes Page but it was not found. Upon further research on The Car Parks website, the lot in which I parked does not show up under their list of official lots in *******, **. For these reasons, I am requesting an investigation into The Car Park's business practices. I have attached photos of the parking lot's signage, a copy of the parking notice, proof of my payment, and lack of information on the companys website as supporting evidence to my complaint.

Hi Tavia. We are sorry to hear about your situation. As of 2021, The Car Park no longer manages the lot at *************************** It is now managed by ******************, a company separate from us. We recommend getting in touch with ****************** for further assistance with your ticket.

RE: *********************************** (sent to business on 7/9)On July 6 we entered the ******************** at about 3:50 PM. to take the ***** Bay History Tour. Upon entering we saw NO SIGNS indicating this was a PAY LOT..no gate, no attendant, no prices (flat rate, hourly?), no spot numbersall things you would expect to see in a PAY Lot. It seemed that this was a courtesy lot for the taxi services. So we pulled along the fence line facing the ************** (and again saw NO signs on the fence to indicate a payment had to be made) I have attached a picture of where we parked. When we returned to the Lot at about 5:45 we found the Parking Violation (time stamped 4:07 very shortly after we arrived). Being confused about this, we drove around the lot to see if we had missed somethingand there it was.several LITTLE green circles on a few of the posts saying pay with your phone (not everyone has a smartphone) or at the PAY STATION. What pay station? It would be helpful for you to post a SIgn that said PAY STATION. It seems very unfair to not make the fees obvious (or is this a way to collect extra money from visitors who are not savvy to the way parking works in *****?).That being said, our car also had a HANDICAP PLACARD hanging in the windshield (picture attached) so even if there was signage at the entrance to indicate a fee, according to ** STATUTES:******* state statue316.1964(5), vehicles displaying a valid disabled permit or license plate are permitted to park for up to 4 hours at no charge. So is the ******************** exempt from this statute? Or is the Patroller not informed of this?Anyway, I respectfully request that this fee be voided. Please respond via this email within 48 hours as your ticket says I must pay within 14 days or be subject to more fines, and I will need to seek alternate measures to settle this matter.

There was no ticket on the car and this feels like extortion to obtain funds from unsuspecting motorists who visit downtown ***** businesses on the weekend when even the city doesn't enforce parking fees.I want a refund of the illegally obtained $50 and removal of this record from this company's database. Further I want the BBB to flag this organization for unethical practices.

Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern about your violation. We have attached an image of the ticket, as well as a photo of our existing signage on the lot to help as a reference. As indicated by our signs, Paid Parking is available weekdays after 6 pm and all day on weekends. As stated on the signs, parking costs $3.00 per hour or $15.00 maximum per day.All of our lots require payment upon parking. To make that easy, we offer multiple and convenient ways to pay for our customers using a waystation or through the ParkMobile app. The ************* does have on street meters that are not enforced over the weekends; however, our lots are privately owned. We do offer all parkers the opportunity to dispute the violation and encourage them to reach out either via email or phone call to one of our customer service team members who would be happy to assist with the violation. A member of our team will be reaching out to you to resolve this issue. If you have more questions or concerns, please dont hesitate to contact us at ******************************** or *************
