    My wife and I had our first rental experience with a property managed by First Rate Property Management, Inc. It was a unit in a small quadplex in ********, *****. The pricing felt reasonable and fair, the property owner and management company were responsive when maintenance was needed, and they were largely hands-off unless called upon.I have no complaints, and in fact, some customer service moments impressed me. I rate my experience four stars.

    To whomever it may concern I have been out of this place for over a year they have a 90-day policy where they would send it into collections it's been over a year and it's over 8 Grand that they say I owe and they have not been honest or hold up their agreement as it is stated in their contract of termination fees after 90 days they would send it in collections because these guys are not good people to even rent from let alone to even talk to because they are never in the office and they are hard to get a hold of I have not been impressed with First Rate Property Management because they have proven to me to be some sort of greedy money hungry people and not here for the tenants they tend to ignore anyway there has been many times that I have been treated negative by this property management and I can't express on how many times they are not good people to rent from I would not recommend them whatsoever

    FRPM upholds the terms of the lease and if they are not met then action is taken per the lease.   Prior to going to collections there was ample opportunities for you to attempt to work with us to resolve the issue.  We are all in the office Monday -Friday 8-5 and are available my email, phone or by scheduling an appointment.  We are sorry you feel this was but we have a signed lease to uphold on behalf of the owner. We wish you the best.

    Avoid this company at all cost.Hidden fees, black mold, unresponsive staff, huge price gouging for getting the deposit back.

    We are sorry that you feel this way. All fees that are tenant responsibility are clearly listed in advertising and on the lease agreement.  I can assure you that our properties are safe for our tenants and cleaned prior to move in.  We have a response policy of 24 hours for all staff and they are great about this.  I am happy to look at your documentation to see what did not get responded to.  Again we are sorry you feel this way and happy to chat more if you would like.

    We are sorry you feel this way.  The lease that you signed has all the fees listed in it.  We are fully transparent with all our fees and our processes.  We are also very clear about the move out expectations which are also explained in detail in the lease that you signed.  We would be happy to go over all your documentation to help you better understand  things.

    I've been a tenant under FRPM for 4 years now and have had nothing but a terrible experience. I'l spare you from reading 4 years worth of complaints and just give you the ultimate reason for my poor review. Property management has the right to show a home currently occupied to prospective tenants if 30 days notice is given - that's totally reasonable. Tenants are supposed to be notified in advance - also reasonable. What isn't reasonable is this: We were notified there would be a showing, then we were told to disregard that, and then upon me calling to confirm, I was told that no, there is in fact a showing. Ok. The agent showed up ************************************************************************************************** the home. She thought this was a vacant property. She proceeded to loiter in our driveway and scream at FRPM on the phone over this matter, causing a scene and drawing concern from my sister who was working from home. We told FRPM ahead of time she would be working from home and couldn't be disrupted. We were told that she could close herself in her bedroom with a note on the outside indicating such and she would not be disturbed. 15 mins later, the agent shows up again ringing our doorbell with a new set of clients to show them the house. This agent let these strangers in our home to free roam our rental unattended with my pets and personal belongings left vulnerable. These strangers then disregarded the note indicating to leave my sister be as she is working, peaking their heads into her bedroom and asking her questions. She had to profusely apologize to her supervisor as she had to step away to deal with all this disruption that should never have happened. I complained to FRPM right away and have been endlessly met with the most generic scripted replies that give no resolution to a situation where we have been left feeling completely violated and disregarded as tenants. This is just 1 of many issues in the past 4 years.

    We are sorry you feel this way.  The showing process is part of the lease that you signed and we do out best to make it work for the tenant and those looking to move it.  While we hope that things go better then described above sometimes that is not the case.  We will look into this and learn from it where we can.

    If you do look into it, which you wont probably- Ill enlighten you on one discrepancy to make sense of my prior claim. It was a prospective tenant that was making a scene at our property (angry we were still living there because FrPM misinformed them about vacancy date), not the showing agent or whatever their title is. Nonetheless the agent should be responsible as they are bringing these strangers to a property I rented with my personal property vulnerable. After I complained and was met with generic responses avoiding a solution, I became frustrated and sent a final email complaint with some profane words, Ill admit. I was then told because of that, Im difficult to work with so FRPM will not go out of their way to work with me and continued to make my life harder. The cherry on top was not only you keeping my deposit but demanding more money on top of it, nickel and diming me for every dust bunny left behind. If you want to look into something look into the overall business model you have of taking advantage of loyal tenants.

    As always there are 2 sides to every story.  FRPM has a positive presence in this community and we strive for all residents to have that experience.  We abide by the l3ease that is signed and that is what dictates the processes that we follow.   This lease is transparent to all residents from day 1 and should be followed to get the best results.  Thanks for taking the time to0 share with us tour frustrations and we will take them to work with our team to improve where we can.
