    Placed an online order through DoorDash and they said they didnt receive it and dont work with DoorDash regardless that they can be found through the app itself and its the first option for ordering online. Refused to refund and had terrible service. Stood there waiting to be helped for almost an hour and didnt have anyone acknowledge me or try and help with the situation. The order was almost $100 and it was extremely frustrating to be brushed aside and told nothing could be done despite showing the order confirmation email that we had. If I could rate zero stars I would.

    On 5/4/22 about 6 PM, drove to Golden Star and paid for a take-out order; after waiting over an hour, asked for refund so we could go home and fix dinner. The three people (who appeared to not speak English) communicated they couldnt give a refund. Told them if they could run a charge, they could refund a charge or just give the cash . . . That would be okay too. They couldnt do that either. Long story short, we werent leaving there without a refund! Finally they refunded but didnt want to give us proof of refund; they said they needed that copy for their records - After fussing about it, the girl reached over and did finally print out a duplicate credit slip. No explanation as to why they made us wait over an hour for a simple fix to the situation. Have been eating there for over 50 years but will never go back! Would also like to mention the carpet was filthy and it stank in there - actually glad we chose to leave!
