    On December 1, 2022 we vacated our mothers room at Pacifica. She had been hospitalized for two weeks in November. At the time we vacated the room they agreed that a refund of $800.00 (one half of her personal care for November) was due. ************************* was the representative we dealt with upon checkout. We have made several calls and always got the response that the refund had to come from the home office and would take 30 days. Now they wont even answer calls.

    We are not able to find out info on the deposit we gave when our Dad moved into Pacifica Senior Living Memory Care, nor on the rent he had leftover when he left for the emergency room never to return there. He left there on Dec. 10, 2021 and deceased Dec. 17, 2021. Each time we are able to get ahold of Pacifica they tell us they don't know what's going on and they have to check with their corporate office. They also say they will keep us informed as to what the outcome will be, but that does not happen. On Jan. 30, 22 we were told it would take 30 days to send out a check once processed. On Feb 25th they said they should be able to move forward the following Tuesday with full processing of the account. On March 10th we were told they had gotten approval and it could take up to 30 days. This week we were told there is a new director at Pacifica who we did get ahold of, and she said she had no idea any of this was going on. The new director called us on April 6th to say she'd spoken to the *********** to try to find out what was going on and would get back to us. We are yet to hear back from them. It has now been 4 months since our Father left their care and someone in this company must know what's going on with his deposit & rent refund and be able to give us a definitive answer on when we will receive that.
