I made one order to SafeSound Alarm almost a year ago and paid them through my ****** account. I then started getting monthly reoccurring charges of $20.01 to my ****** account. I did not sign up for this. I disputed these charges after a few months and the last charge was dropped. However, again today, I got another charge of $20.01 from SafeSound Alarm to my ****** account. I am going to again attempt to have this charge dropped and stop further monthly charges. This company needs to be held accountable for this scam. They have gotten money out of me for something I did not sign up for, and I am sure there are many others they have scammed this way, too.

On June 28, 2024 I was billed for a Safe and Sound Personal Alarm. The charge was $20.33. The transaction number is 7FU635726P325445U. I have tried to reach out to the company but I am always directed to "Just Answer" which wants me to join and pay $5.00 a month for a resolution.

I responded to an add for 3 Free personal alarms -- paying only for shipment, from SafeSound Alarms, in April. On April 9, they charged my Paypal account ***** plus 3.27. I received the three alarms, (which are still in their original wrapping). On April 24, I was charged *****, again on May 24, and now again pending for June 27. I had been away and just paid my bills without looking at details. I will call them tomorrow to send all three alarms back - however their return site says no money back after one month. Looking at complaints today, there is a 'live' talk concerning them, that their ads quote phony people, plus have the same names of purchasers though in different countries! I believe you should look into them. Thank you.

Saw this alarm on line (FB) for women senIors for shipping costs only. I would get this for my protection ( PLUS BATTERIES ) $7.95 + $3.24 + $10.78 +5.37 FOR A TOTAL OF $27.34 on April 7. THEY NEVER MENTIONED A MONTHLY FEE. Next thing I know I see $20.48 coming out of my pay pal on April 21 in the amount of $20.48. Never got any notice about any thing, and I am unable to contact them! I have stopped the payment with my bank and pay pal. BUT I cannot contact them! I have never used this and if they want it back, they can have it. Since I cannot contact them, this is nothing but A SCAM! I was able to stop the May payment they tried to take.

I ordered personal key chain alarms from safesound. I did receive my original purchase. I then started to get charges of ***** on 3/2, 3/31, 4/22 and 5/1. I called safesound and the gal told me that they had sent me an email and I signed up for the coupons and it charges ***** a month. I asked her when it was sent and who it would of been through. She said it was from safesound on February 19th. I looked at my emails and The only email I received on February 19th from Safesound was one thanking me for my order and to this day was was never opened. I told her to send me the email proof that I sent back allowing the charges and she couldn't.

I bought this alarm for @22.00 and was never notified that my Paypal account would be debited $20.95 each month thereafter. I would not have bought this item under those conditions, and I want my money refunded. The total comes to $96.11.

Date of transaction by my bank statement is May 23, 2023. When ordered I told them I was getting them for me, daughter, sister and mother. Mainly for me because I am homeless. I knew I had to leave me apartment on 29th of May. They even guaranteed I would receive them by or before I left to go out of town. It's hard finding affordable senior housing in ****. That's 93 dollars and a few cents. I went out of town for 3 weeks and I've been couch surfing since I've been back on the nineteenth. I had to have my mail sent to local post office. The Manger that was at the time where I used to live was getting in my mailbox and send them back. I decided to have mail sent elsewhere like post office. I had been waiting for my ebt card and it was returned back. I knew it was her. The lady post master and her employees felt bad, because I was trembling from what I was going through, so they told me not to worry that they will hold my mail until I found an apartment. Well today I really lost it and became belligerent. I'm tired of no one helping, or refuse and I have to pay. I'm on a fixed income and because I didn't know how long it would be before I got called to let me know when an apartment was vacant so I could get a stable home. I called twice and the same lady answered. She had me go to post office to get a claim or form from one of the employees stating I didn't receive what I ordered. Eventhough I told her that I had gone once and postal workers couldn't do that. My mail or packages some of them anyway still go to the old apartment. I asked for a manager and said we can't do anything else for you and go and get the claim form if there's such a thing from the post office I didn't get my alarms. How can someone let alone government employees give you something that's not a procedure. I had even my state refunds taken, because someone used my credentials to collect unemployment while I was working at the *********** ***************** during the pandemic. Identity theft.

I received an email that included an ad from SafeSound Personal Alarm. They are trying to trick people into buying alarms by using fake newspaper articles supposedly from my town, "****************, ****: Recent Attacks On ********************* To Issue Public Safety Alert, Urging Older Residents To Carry New Safety Device" by "***************************** | Tuesday, March 21, 2023, ******************** Call us at **************". This same story shows up in many places on the internet, each time with a different city, but always ***************************** as the author and ********************* as the local elderly victim. It does say "Advertorial" at the top in very small print. I didn't even see the disclaimer the first three times I looked at the ad. This is horribly deceptive, and some people might think this story is real. Is this practice even legal? I would never purchase something from a company that utilizes such deceptive advertising tactics. They should be fined and/or closed down.
