We appreciate the opportunity to address this matter and provide clarity regarding the ongoing situation. Our clinic takes patient inquiries seriously and is committed to maintaining transparency in our billing practices.

The patients mother has repeatedly contacted our clinic, persistently disputing charges related to a COVID-19 test administered in 2022. She claims that both the provider and front desk staff assured her the test would be covered under the membership plan. However, there is no documentation from the provider indicating that this service was ever offered as free. Our policy allows providers to grant exceptions in special cases, but any such waivers must be documented and approved by our billing office director prior to making any arrangements with the patient. No such exception was recorded for this patient.

Despite multiple explanations, she continues to insist she was given different information. She also asserts that she has detailed records of the names and dates of the individuals she spoke to. However, when asked to provide those details, she claimed she had spoken with both me and a staff member named ******. This is demonstrably false, as ****** only joined our team within the past month and could not have been involved in discussions from 2022. Despite these repeated explanations, she requested to have her demands escalated and even threatened to report my staff members to HR in an effort to get them fired.

Her persistent and excessive communication continued into 2025. On January 28, she contacted our team yet again, disputing the same charges. When told that the charges stood, she immediately called another clinic, attempting to get a different answer but was again informed that COVID-19 tests were not covered. Two days later, on January 30, she resumed her calls, now pretending she was unaware of the situation. Our receptionist once again explained the billing details. Following this, she called our billing department multiple times, harassing various staff members with repeated phone calls. Eventually, she reached me but abruptly ended the call by hanging up.

Due to her continued threats and harassing behavior toward our staff, a decision was made to terminate her membership, allowing her to seek treatment elsewhere. A formal termination letter was mailed to her on January 30, 2025. After receiving the letter, she called the billing office yet againthis time expressing remorse for her behavior. She stated that she never intended to mistreat anyone or cause someone to lose their job.

While we understand that billing disputes can be frustrating, we cannot allow continued harassment of our staff. We stand by our decision, as these charges were appropriately applied based on our policies.

This company is nothing but a farse! I asked for my medical records and they refused to give them to me and I have been treated extremely poorly..I have never threatened there staff give me a brake . They only feel threatened because I called and call because they never answer my phone calls. It was a bad decision to ever do care with this facility.

During the pandemic on 06/09/2021, Sterling Urgent Care Located in ****** Idaho provided me with *** ******** *******. Before they provided me with ********* *******, I let them know I was uninsured person and they said they will not charge me for the ******** ******* and two years later, Sterling Medical LLC sent me a bill dated on 10/03/2023 with the amount of $48 Dollar for this ******** *******. According to the official website of ************* ********** of ****** and ***** Services, providers cannot charge for ******** ******* or ************** of ******** ******* regardless they provide with this service to insured or uninsured people. On Oct I9th 2023 I sent a letter through their website, www.urgentcare.com. In this letter, I was asking them to correct this bill and let them know they cannot charge for this service. Then next day October 20th 2023, they called me to let me know the reason they are charging me $48 dollar for ******** ******* is because the government did not pay for this service to them. I also let them know that I reported this matter to the Office of the Inspector General, U.S. ********** of ****** and ***** Services, **********************************************************************

My first and only billing statement was a past due notice. I promptly mailed a check but I shortly thereafter received a debt collector's notice.

I am super frustrated with this place. I do understand that mistakes happen, we are all only human, and none of us are perfect. That being said, I am very displeased with the billing department. I filed medical bankruptcy on Jan 31st 2023, and in that bankruptcy I included Sterling Urgent Care. Not much later after filing I received a phone call coming through as potential spam, I answered the call and my 8 year daughter was asked for by name. I then proceeded to ask why my 8 year was being called by a bill collector and informed the bill collector that I had just filed bankruptcy. Instead of asking for the Lawyers Name or Case number or anything I was hung up on. Fast forward a few weeks from that phone call, my daughters dad started receiving bills from them in his mail box addressed to her. He then called the billing department and again was treated very rude and again they were informed they have been billing a minor child, no questions asked, just hung up again. Now we have an 8 year daughter with a bill in collections thanks to this place. I went in physically and discussed this matter and it was handled on their end, thank you. However they admitted to their mistake of adding my daughter as a guarantor of her own and it was requested that we her parents provide more information to avoid harassing calls from bill collectors and receiving bills. I am upset this ever even happened to begin with. After telling collectors multiple times they were going after a minor they proceeded to do so without even bothering to look into this or try and fix it. Now its up to me to provide more information to fix their admitted mistake? Just doesn't sit well with me at all. Also if you try to call the office direct from ****** it says you are calling a potential spam number and you don't get through to anyone. Just offers to leave a message, and thats it. The 3rd party billing seems to be a foreign call center, which is sketchy all on its own.
