My car was parked in a parking lot when a driver insured by Allstate and this agent backed into me. The loss damage agent assigned would not return my phone calls (literally a dozen or more calls). It took two months to reach them and I called had to call them. Then they said they had already assigned blame at 50/50% and under Idaho law they werent obligated to pay for my repair. This was before they had even talked to me for my statement. I had texts from the other driver accepting full responsibility for the accident. Then after repeatedly ignoring my messages to get it straightened out they told me the claim had been closed for more than a month and I would have to file a claim with my own insurance.Extremely disappointed that a carrier that is supposed to be premium would pull these underhanded and dirty tactics to avoid paying a claim they are clearly responsible for covering. Avoid Allstate as your carrier and if you are in an accident with an Allstate insured be sure to dot your Is and cross your Ts. Never had an Insurance company be so obstructive and cheating as this and that is saying something. The only way I can get my vehicle fixed is court or filing my own claim on my insurance and paying the deductible and having my premium increase for the next 5 years
