I have the main water supply line to my house break on December 9, 2022. Boise Plumbing and Drain was recommend to me by the restoration company I was using. The owner of the company met with me and had a licensed plumber come out and confirm the problem. The said that the break was under my concrete slab in the basement and the would abandon that line and install anew one either in the wall or u der the bathroom cabiner. The owner said he would get back with me on the price and would take care of me. Approximately 10 minutes later he phoned me a price of $8,200 to run a new line and I agreed. The work was done on December 13th the plumber arrived to do the work. I did not get a written estimate or contract from them. I was sick at the time and slept most of the day. When I was woken up by the plumber to let me know that the work was finished, I was in complete astonishment at the work they provided. The new supply line was in the corner of my family room. I told the plumber this is not what we agreed on. It was the either be installed in the wall or under the bathroom cabinet. The did not wear woot coverings when the were in the house and tracked mud down the stairs and my family room. I sent pictures and video to the restoration company and they were also astonished withe the work. The owner was contacted and said they would be out to remedy the issue. On January 6th they were scheduled to come out. At this time I had found that there was no permit from the city for the work. The owner was upset with me and said he was done. I have had to hire a new company and paid an additional $14,000 to have the work done correctly.
